Why can't we change runes during champ select??

Was thinking about that too, but some people want to keep a rune page for a main or something and not change it at all. Would it sound better if I have said "This applies to people with more than 5 rune pages"

i would have said it .. but his guy said it.. it wont change.. just be glad we get free mastery pages.

Not entirely sure myself, but I feel that it could give an unfair advantage to those who have most/all runes compared to those who don't. If you were able to willingly change your runes it would be easy to set up a page to counter the enemy team (in important queue's like ranked). If you are stuck with the runes you have it makes it slightly harder. It is true that having more rune pages could accomplish this as well, but your selection is narrowed down to 20.

True..however those people who have most or all runes already have more than enough pages for an entire team. I have 9 pages or something and I just feel the need to have this option.
