Smurf is dominating. Main is suffocating.

I am at a bit of a crossroads right now. Currently, my smurf account is... well making my main account look like my smurf account.

Here's the skinny:

I started the season on both accounts in the same division, Bronze 4 For some reason, this account just cannot advance as progress has been very roller-coaster-like, however on the other account, it just climbs and climbs to the point where its almost scary to me.

Part of me wants to believe that I can do the same thing on this account, but the other part of me is tempted, at this point, to just continue playing on my smurf account, even though I have a much smaller pool of champions to my displeasure.

You (boards) have told me time and again, that it is my playing that is lacking, and that I'm not doing something right whenever I've asked for tips, but in my eyes, the differences in team orientation is like night and day from account to account. What do I do at this point?

I don't smurf.

The Main account will always be your first account in learning the basic & seeing what mistakes you made in the past.

The only thing that changes if your MMR (Matchmaking rating) is very low on your main account your going to be put with kids whom haven't learnt all of the basics yet, yet when your matchmaking is higher you will get put with other decent players.

Example of MMR.

My Aram Matches almost 300wins I'm winning more than I lose 67% Win Rate. In this mode I'm facing better opponents everytime even faced some diamonds & what not. In Summoners Rift that's a whole different ball game my 40-50wins only in normals puts my MMR so low to players whom are just new to this game, eventually my MMR in SR will go up slowly depending on my win %.

IDK about rank if it refreshes your MMR next season; if not I should be able to climb out of bronze regardless of what teammates i have I will carry. Smurf accounts tend to have a better MMR everytime.

its because your mains MMR is so low because it has a wider pool of games to base your stats off of. yet you dominate on your smurf because you are getting placed vs people who have a MMR of 900 when your MMR after placements and whatnot might be 1400, and to prove this point.

my old main, gets placed in bronze every season. no mater how good i do.

got my new account to 30 played my placements got placed in silver 1.
