Have you ever had one of those games where
Your team flames the hell out of you, even though you're pretty sure you've done your job?
Warning: RANT (Really just ticked off right now, typing this to relieve anger)
So I've been playing a lot of Sejuani lately, and in this particular game, I had my midlaner telling me what to do from the start of the game. And my first thought was:
"Hey, at least he cares enough to give some friendly advice."
Then he said:
"Just farm bro, you're behind in level." "Hey Sejuani, just farm." "Farm, Sejuani." FARM
And I was listening to his advice because he had kills. So for the early game, regrettably, I did buttfuck nothing, except initiate a few bad ganks, probably because I'm tired. And you know, the fact that he felt the need to keep telling me that I needed to farm shows just how terribly unconfident he was, so this, as you could imagine, carried it's way into teamfighting. He still wasn't exactly wrong, though, as reflecting on it makes me realize that I may have ganked twice after level three, if I remember correctly. So that did set me behind on reaching level 6.
I'm pretty sure I landed 3 four man ultimates during the mid-late game phase. One or two of them may have been when my team wasn't behind me. But the third one I landed, for sure my team was behind me, or so I thought before I threw the ultimate. Because we were in the middle of sieging a tower, so you would expect a fight to break out. But nope, they let me die, and THEN the Katarina decided to ult. And THEN the Ryze started flaming me for feeding. I swear, they had no coordination and would not stop bickering, and I'll admit, I did a bit of bickering myself when their typing stopped them from winning a teamfight, that was blamed on me for losing.
And you know why the coordination was so bad? Because everyone was so focused on themselves, instead of fighting with the team, they went in one by one to fight.
Not to mention, the multiple times I went in on a fight I knew me and another person could take, and they end up either going in really late because of a lack of confidence either in my ability or theirs.
You know, now that I look back on it, it's nothing to be PO about, just a few mistakes on my part and the fact that my team had no confidence whatsoever, and just continued to flame eachother. (I probably didn't mention the support Jayce that also flamed me for being bad when he gave the Kog 'Maw at least 6 kills during laning phase, and set Caitlyn way behind?)
I hate blaming people, I really do, because I usually blame no one but myself, and to be honest, it's never worth blaming someone else. Because everytime that I do I see an extreme drop in the recipient's performance, which almost always causes a loss. But really, it takes a team to lose or win a game, if you blame someone, it's the same thing as feeding the enemy team. In fact, if you blame someone, it's the same thing as your entire team feeding the enemy team. Because it's all cause and effect. Let me draw it out for you:
- You blame someone
- Depending on what type of person they are, they may ignore you if they are smart. But most likely, if someone is feeding, they are probably already pissed off at themselves, and will redirect their anger towards you if you provoke them.
- That person feeds because they can't focus.
- The person on the enemy team that's fed obliterates your entire team in every teamfight, or, if an assassin, probably catches you out everywhere you go.
- Lose game, everyone on your team walks away pissed off.
Of course this doesn't happen every time, and for the most part happens in lower elos.
They both have the same results. So please, the next time you go to tell someone off, just run it down mid and get executed by a tower. The end result will be a lot better.
Tl;dr Bronze V is hell.
