Hi!

Somebody knows why as you get "better" in your league (I'm silver 1 right now) you have each game a worst game experience? I have made my way from bronze to silver 1, and all I have to say is that at least in bronze maybe people can do some crazy mistakes, but at least they try to win and do not start a surrender because teams are 9 to 10. Since I'm silver it has become extremely hard to win a game just because the ammount of leavers/afk and blamers, really a bad league, even worse than bronze 5.

Also, is MMR different in promotion? Every time I manage to get to my promo series I have trollers and leavers, much more than usual. For example my last promo (to silver 1) I got 4 leavers since beggining, really an annoying game.

Personally I prefer to be a bronze player because a better game experience, if I play rankeds is just because end season rewards but every game I have to play is like a living hell.

I can't say for sure that the mmr of matches in promos are different, but your problem is not unique. Due to Riot's tier system where you must lose a lot of games before you actually go down from say plat to gold, but those whose mmr is that of silver 3 but are currently placed in gold 5 for whatever reason will play with silvers. This system means that they have a lot less to lose when it comes to individual games as long as their mmr never reaches that of silver 5. This may be part of your problem, along with many others that face this same trouble climbing. There is a certain point, however, where you've reached about as far as you can and the trolls, feeders, etc, even out and you attain your "true elo." Hope this helped!
