So let's talk about a game I just played...

We'll start at the loading screen. Nothing unsual, I load up to 100, my ping is at 125. Little higher since new patch but no worries, still fine. When i notice that Everyone (including me) is at 100 but two people are just black boxes and aren't loading. I'm used to this, "They'll pop in at 100 and suddenly the game will start". Only it doesn't. I sit there for about ten minutes maybe five minutes, and decide to go back to a veigar guide to get a few last minute tips as I'm only just learning him. Minimize the screen to see this...

"You have been disconnected"

"@#$*"

I never have this problem but whatever, it's League weird things happen. I scramble and log back in, load up the game and appear at the nexus to see.

"/all Report Veigar"

Ohhhh... yay this is gonna be a fun game. I immediately apologize and tell everyone this never happens. My opponent (Xerath) has somehow already gotten a kill. Everyone is level 6. Hooray. I trudge to my lane to find my tower just lost and the sly Xerath leviating away. Alright, This is bad but lets see what we can do. Out the gate I start with 2 doran's rings and 2 potions. I go to my lane and farm like my life depends on it, stacking my q as much as possible with one goal in mind. Your teammates hate you right now and blame you for this, do NOT feed. Farm. Dodge every skill shot and make a play when possible. So i do just that.

Xerath thinks he has the advantage and takes me for an easy opponet just because he is six levels higher. But i let him back me up to turret, and just stacked my Q as much as possible. I didnt engage or even acknoledge that he existed. I simply played dodge ball while farming.

While all this was happening my bottom lane was dominating and the entire team was talking. We knew we were behind but somehow came together despite our underwhelming odds. I built super mega AP and engaged with stun and deleted xerath and let my teammates take care of the others. Somehow we were pushing through and winning. I apologised over and over as it happened and played the best I could when this happened in chat.

"You guys Im so sorry, this wasnt intentional" "Dude. You're cool bro." "^"

I got burst down every time a teamfight happened but it was ok. Because of the enemies short sightedness of aiming at me, I was able to get a stun off before I died and while they were so busy focusing me, They weren't focusing my team which allowed my team to kill them.

Caitlyn began carrying hard, Braum became a meatsheild. Everything was pushing through. A 50 minute game, A super close game. Won. Even with an afk mid.

Just a little something to think about the next time your mid, support, or even adc has computer problems. Veigar

When your adc afk/dc's, the support goes ham and carries the entire team.
