Throughout Gold - Plat I am really surprised so many players don't read the patch notes, I mean patch notes can easily redefine the game for you and your champion. I just think a glance is always good as things can change drastically from patch to patch. I tend to read them 3 times lol :D

They may not know how to implement them well all the time but they certainly do know nearly all the general information of the game.

When at the top .01 % they claim how bad the players still are there's a problem. i went from gold to diamond by listening to an lcs coach talk about the game and give coaching. He says if you take the game somewhat seriously there is no reason you shouldnt be diamond 5 and i saw why. Ive been on winning streak after winning streak because the players play worse than silvers in high plat. 70-65% win rates on all my champions. You guys want to believe you get an accomplishment. Im not just saying this to be an asshole its true the players are not good

It means you have invested enough time in this game to be in essentially the top 1/4 of everyone playing on your server. That is an accomplishment and not one that can be scoffed at. Players not being good is completely relative. A gold to a bronze is good but a gold to a diamond is bad. However that doesn't negate the fact that they have achieved something that the majority of people that play this game can not do. Also, you are just being an asshole.

Sammystorm2 votesIt isn't even remotely close to a C+. The mean is usually somewhere between a C+ and a B- 70% is 20 percentiles above that. Meaning they probably are in a B+ range. B+ is pretty universally good. Not as good as the people that get 4.0's or 4.3's but still good. i was d2 last season and I didn't know how to play. It's really not hard.
Also you have it backwards. Generally if you have good mechanics and positioning and know some very basic teamfighting skills and dont lose lane every game, and positive player and play consistent you can get diamond pretty fast.

When you actually KNOW what you're doing, simple strategies like wombo-combo comps, or camping the enemy jungler in their jungle become amazingly effective. You don't need a Lee Sin making da plays to win games.

I read the patch notes of every patch released for this game. Because I like Riot as a game dev, and like seeing the way they work. They know what the hell they're doing(usually) and if they mess up they fix things fairly quickly. They communicate more than almost any other game dev team, and they actually know how to make their game more fun most of the time.
