Makes sense honestly. Forces Challenger tier to maintain their rank.
Albeit a 24 hour rotation seems a bit frequent for large servers like NA. Kinda makes being in Challenger an occupation in of itself, even if you yourself aren't a pro (although I guess that may be the point). Of course, the feedback of those people in Diamond I and Challenger matter a lot more than someone in Gold III :P
One thing I truly don't understand is why Challenger is over Master... What are Master masters of if there are people challenging somethign else that, and those Challengers are already ranked higher. Unless they consider professional as a tier higher than Challenger, but that's both disrespectful to Challengers (for Solo Queue) and kinda foolish imo.
I can already see some issues such as IRL emergencies and such completely screwing over some players and also it promotes those who don't have any responsibilities/expenses to just sit around and play all day and not have a life outside of LoL. (this we have known to happen but on very a small scale) There is also how this will effect such events as PAX and Gaming conventions as people in Master/Challenger will be more reluctant to go to events as it could cost them more than just admission fees.

All these new tiers and ranked stuff remind me that I'm a silver noob and then I feel sad.
Seems like a simple way to fix the whole challenger immunity and lp clamping in diamond 1?
It makes sense. It's basically just moving all the D1 players into their own tier where they can compete with each other with a visable number (lp) rather than the invisable MMR, and having the top 200 (or 50 teams) of that new tier be challenger
Eh, I'm for the tier. D1 and Challenger has been something of its own tier already. Makes sense to just give it that status.
