Assigned Team Chat - Group Queue

One of the problems I've noticed with the group queue chat is that as soon as the queue timer pops to join the game all of the chat disappears. This is kind of inconvenient as you're unable to read the chat some of the time. As a possible solution to this could you let this chatroom remain open whilst queue pops? This would really save some of the headache of retyping, or telling someone you weren't able to read their not-so-flattering text about how kyute your teemo skin is.
