If it was a complete stomping. It makes you look like an ass. More the WP part over the GG. No, it was not well played. You beat the other team so hard you might file assault charges.

I disagree. A game can be well played even if it is a horrible loss. If a person plays to the best of his ability, I consider it well played. It's a matter of sportsmanship. People can be objectively better than others. That doesn't take away from the losing team's performance if they did what they could.

Let's say a 10 year old kid and Usain Bolt had a race. The kid obviously couldn't keep up with Bolt, but he ran as hard as he could. Bolt could just jog and win, I'm sure. For the kid's part, that was a race well run. He had no chance, but he gave it what he could.

After all, it's only ever "gg wp" when you're not the losing party. I get so tired of telling people on the enemy team "HEY DID YOU NOTICE OUR TEAMMATES ARE TROLLING AND FEEDING", and they're just like "Nah, you're just bad. gg ez"

Surprising how toxic someone can be even when they win.

Yea, but unfortunately people on this game love being egotistical a-holes more then they like being nice and sportsmen like. There will always be those players who just want to harass their teammates and the other team, who love to boast about how well they're doing and have that God complex of thinking that they can verbally abuse teammates who are doing bad just because they're doing "so good". Players who want to see their teammates suffer through a game by feeding the enemy team and then sit there and harass any player who calls them out on it. Players who only blame others for there mistakes in a match and go afk or intentionally begin to feed because they believe that that will "teach his/her teammates to not do so bad". No matter what we, the players, or Riot does, there will always be these types of Players around. Players who will only make it harder for newcomers to become acclimated into the game. Even now as those types of players that i speak of read this, I can only imagine that they laugh or make snide remarks at how dumb i must be to think that other players would ever care about being "nice" or "sportsmen like".

Not but seriously, people need to just respect the fact that they have no right to make someone else miserable in a video game if they can't have that turned back on them.

i think it's normal. i usually say it at the end of every game whether i won or lost. for me i guess it's similar to sports where both team shakes hand at the end of a match to show sportsmanship. beside i prefer this over my teammate or opponent throwing out "you so noob" the entire game just cause we're losing or winning by a lot

It is the equivalent of shaking your opponent's hand after an in-person competition such as Baseball. It is telling the person that you respect them as a fellow player, regardless of if they are better or worse than you.

I only say GGWP when both teams have an even team score of about 20 vs 20, and that both teams have evenly match skills. Saying ggwp in stuffs like 50 vs -2 is just plain rude.
