Teambuilder is already gone, don't disgrace it more

Teambuilder was disabled 3 months ago. Despite enormous community outrage Riot has decided they will not implement it ever again.

When preseason began a bug appeared locking players out of receiving the icons earnable by playing 5 games in the queue on a particular champion class for over 2 months.

On January 7th Rioter NaKyle claimed that Riot is capable of identifying whether someone has earned the icon. He then told us that due to this, shortly after Teambuilder went down the icons that went undistributed while the bug was active would be manually distributed.

On top of that, I recently submitted a ticket asking for the distribution of the lost icons (of which I earned three) and was told by Rioter jeProx taht distribution has not started and Riot has no plans to distribute these anytime soon.

Please Riot, don't throw away the last good thing to be promised regarding Teambuilder. I can understand that you have stated you aren't willing to let it come back, but don't leave an unkept promise hanging over it's memory.
