A Tribute to a Lost Friend

So the person that got me into this game 4-6 years ago recently passed away. I wanted to make a tribute to him that will possibly be lost in the boards.

His IGN is FunDipKing and he died from suicide because of depression. But he did love this game and loved Volibear the most. I remember him getting me into this game and my first champ being Soraka.

I just wanted to make a tribute to him since he was actually a fairly decent person.

Rest In Peace man, I will miss you greatly.

In respecting other players, I often give the advice to see those players as more than just IGN's and champions, but as real individuals. I'm absolutely saddened to hear that you've lost someone who's had a positive impact on you and your experiences with the game, and for that, I'm sorry for your loss. I haven't lost any of my friends on League of Legends, so I can't say that I know what you're feeling, but my heart aches for you and your friend's loved ones. I wish you all the best, and if you need someone to talk to, my sleeping habits are at that level of jacked up where I can pretty much say that I'm usually available.

I'm sorry for your loss. There is solace in knowing that you were a reason he had to look forward to living one more day and playing league. Take some comfort in that fact even if it is hard to see any good.

As someone who has attempted suicide before... I know how hard things can get. Luckily I was unsuccessful but I express my sincerest condolences to you and your friend :(

Out of respect for the deceased I will shush the Zilean inside of me and not insult a Volibear player. I hope he lived a life that he can be proud of, as that is all we can hope for in the end. May you rest peacefully FunDipKing, and may your dreams have not been in vain.

Please if you are thinking about committing suicide then don't do it. PLEASE I beg you talk to someone you know that is close to you if not then call the suicide hotline or if you don't wanna do that call someone that can help you treat your depression/unwillingness to live. Killing yourself is a 1 way ticket to who knows where... And where ever that place is you ain't coming back.

If you really are tired of living and don't enjoy life... Then live for me, for the people that enjoy seeing your beautiful face everyday with your uniqueness!

I'm really sorry for your loss. I had a friend die on me in another game and I know how hard it is on you.

Best of luck and I'm sure a lot of people will play voli at least once today as a tribute. I known I will.

That's terrible, be strong though man. I was shellshocked for months after my friend passed, it gets easier as time passes but you never forget. Let his passing be motivation for your future, life is short and precious. I will q a few voli games in memory of our fellow summoner today. Take care my friend and keep your head up.

Why make a tribute for a coward? If they gave a shit about you; they wouldn't have willingly left you.

This is coming from someone who has been hospitalized with depression, ptsd and anxiety while having suicidal thoughts to make flashbacks of childhood sexual abuse stop.
