So my friend has a touchscreen and we were discussing the merits of a drunken touchscreen ARAM match. Unfortunately we haven't had time to test this. So does anyone know if League is at all functional with a touchscreen? Would it require any special tweaking?
Anyways anyone here try touchscreen League before?

It's a computer, runs all modern games...Wont stop me from teasing her for playing on something that looks kinda like a giant tablet though.
Sucks that it's not possible to use a touchscreen with it. Drunken ARAM touchscreen matches sounded like a really amazing concept that coulda turned into live tournaments.

Yeah. You still would need a mouse and keyboard to play League effectively. Though, I don't think Vainglory (The biggest mobile MOBA out there, and the fourth most played overall) would work on a PC with a touchscreen, because desktops and laptops don't have the option to download it.
Though, I wouldn't be surprised if Riot would eventually make touchscreen PCs work with League. It'd be weird, but interesting.

Yeah I checked, it's a no go for touchscreen PCs. I wonder if it'd work with an emulator or if those can even handle touchscreen capabilities. That said the concept is more about people fumbling about with the horrible control that a touchscreen would have to offer. Was a bit surprised when you mentioned there's a touchscreen MOBA. I'm not into tablet type games.
I'd have no problem with touchscreen capabilities in league since even with the weaker control scheme the players would place appropriately based on MMR.

Yeah. There's like two or three mobile MOBAs out there. VainGlory just happens to be most popular out of the three, and is the only one of the three that's actually streamed on Twitch.
The reason I'm even aware of its existence is because of Ciderhelm. He was a League of Legends player that'd make guides that shat on Riot's own official spotlights, and use to write an eBook, called "Learn the League". He stopped making videos back in Season 2. And stopped playing League and updating his book back in Season 3. Announced to all his followers that he was apart of Super Evil Megacorp, the devs of VainGlory. He makes videos for them now.
