They said early 2017, maybe mid. It's gonna be a while, especially since Pre-season is going to fuck everything up with all the wild changes. He'll have to stay in development until it's over.

The last thing they said is they still want to release him late this year, or MAYBE early 2017.

They cannot take like, 1 entire year to rework a champ since the start.

Also, the balance team (i suppose it's the team who is doing pre-season changes) and VGU team are two separate teams. They are not going to hold one until the other has fiinished their work. :)

They took three years to give us a true dragon champion from the ground up, which is the same level of work.

And I'm talking about how they'll have to adjust the balance of the update around the item and jungle changes, especially if they want him to jungle, like his fanbase wants to keep in his kit.

You are right on that, but its not the same.

They also took many years to start doing the Warwick rework, but its not the same now as they HAVE started it. I said that once you have started already with the rework, nowadays its impossible that they will took an entire year to finish it. Again, because they already started it.

They can adjust him once he is live for the new jungle, but they will not "delay" him as the balance team and VGU team are two completely different teams. Also, they were probably doing the rework having in mind they were going to implement the new jungle changes. But also remember, Riot said the jungle changes on this season were not going to be as "hard" as the other seaons. :)
