Im tired of people hating on this pirate themed event.....ever since pirates of the carribean 1, I love everything about pirates (besides butt pirates and Somalian pirates) and also AC: Black Flag. This even is everything I wanted and more, the new map is much better than the old aram, the new lore is amazing, the new skins are great, and the new voice is funny and interactive. They made the new voice much more creative and much more better.

So please, let us pirate fanatics enjoy this event, then you can go back to your boring old voice and music.

Honestly, my favorite thing about the new announcer is that the comments are emotive and visceral. Instead of some bland voice saying "An ally has been slain," with a tone that could just as easily be saying "The sky is blue," we get a fantastically evocative comment. He sounds invested in the fight - even if he doesn't care about who wins, he cares about the action. And I love that.
