what happened to this game?

I was thinking after some horrible games in rank last night again, what is wrong with this game? This game use to be fun. Match making was better. The toxicity wasn't as bad. Being able to shuffle your champion picks and play them. Now I see and get in rank and normal play is dodge after dodge, afk, swearing, threats,verbal chat abuse, racial slurs. So mute and report and typical nothing appears to happen. In rank I get the best trolls the game has to offer, feeders cause they don't like there roles or don't know how to play a lane. Lack of team work. People aren't focused on objectives. So I am lost. Confused. I turned the game off Last night thinking riot really hates me. Now I don't always have the best games but this season I really made that effort with champions and research and my kd improved, getting S scores for matches, but it's never enough. I been to b1 so many times and last week I can't pull a win out of b5. So I asked a couple random groups last night why the trolling and response was it is fun and if it gets you a loss it will keep you in bronze. That game I played jayce and went 16-5 or something and I could not stop it. I lost my little eye on my border. So why does riot hate me? I use to play rank with silver and gold friends and I be bronze something and I would win those matches and played well, probably better then usual. But over the last couple years they don't play anymore. Most thought the game wasn't in a good state anymore and left. So I play solo. I play the best I can and play champs like jayce who I don't like but play anyway cause of the matchup and just not getting it done. Can't carry against a super Fed team. So like I said why the hate? I realize it is a game, but I do play for fun but I also play to win. Maybe I take the game to seriously but it is me and basically it is my free time. I have this thing where next match or this champ can be better type thing. Idk
