done with rank play

Phenyxs··12 votes·2,080 views

I am done with rank. I have tried and clawed my way thru it to be trolled back to b5 again. After this morning incidents enough is enough. My team bans my picks and laughs and went on to swear me out. Don't know who they are. They admit to trolling. Then second game mid and bttm feed so hard I never seen a match like the one I had. At end of game they think it is funny. This season no wards,no pings. No effort. Something is wrong. The matchmaking is broken. I have said it So many times. To many you may not care or going to leave a toxic comment. To me, I feel different. I have the champs, the builds and skill to play well. But it isn't enough. I am not sure what to do or play. I guess see if next season gets better. I worked hard for this season and the system in place failed.

B5 is so easy you can solo carry out, just practice Master Yi or Shyvana Devourer jungle

Phenyxs4 votes

I know it is. Done it. Those champs are easy. Don't Ned them to get out of b5. That's not the issue or problem.

69469238DEL11 votes

I'm just saying ti sounds like your expecting B5 to be a place where you'll find any sort of decency, its the pits, play whatever gets you the win.

Phenyxs1 votes

Done that, do it. Not the point again. A Fed team with no deaths but who the one I face in lane. I can't carry a team who feeds the 30 plus kills. And won't.

69469238DEL13 votes

Ok then I don't see the problem with you being in Bronze, it sounds like that's where you belong, just try and have fun man, peace summoner 6

Your just like them in rank. Why piss people off. You don't know how I play or if I am good or not. Your being an ass

Honestly I think you're just being prideful and defensive. Come back in a few days and read your posts again. Yeah, I'm calling you out.

I'd say work on your CS, yeah, but the biggest issue I see with your games is that
you have 0 pink wards bought in the last 20 games. Fix it. summoner 6

selvatica1 votes

Not anymore you can't. Not if you solo it anyway. You get put up against to many premade teams to carry a solo NON-premade team. This is why a lot of people are not playing ranked right now until Rito add's a truly "solo" option.

Now the good thing, if you find 2 other people to que with that have voice chat its EXTREMELY easy to win. I 3 manned my placements and a couple games after with my main account and hit G5 in a day.

69469238DEL11 votes

I just recently did it so yeah you can solo carry out. That's why Silver is such a crapshoot. You have a mix of the people who solo carried out of bronze mixed with the bronzies who hitched a ride on their backs.

You clearly have no clue how bad it is. You have been out of it so long you don't get it. People don't even try, they actively feed a Diana, Jax and Yi ect.........

And in the same game with all of them on the team.

I just carried out this season, in two days, but still I don't know what you're experiencing right now. I remember it was bad, support ezreal, top lane amumu...

Of course you don't you. You got hot for two or got help. I have won 8 games in a row too. Didn't matter in the long run.

Omg I just want to be there so badly!! but the game won't let me! I want to prove I have what it takes to carry myself out of bronze 5 to silver at a quick pace more than trying to get back into gold.

Sarcasm doesn't fit you well.

Dukues1 votes

But I am not being sarcastic :(.

I mean if you want help and advice just ask. I would say stop playing warwick jungle because either your teammates do not understand him or you dont. 5-16 record is just not looking good. I know warwick is super good, but I don't play him because when I do I usually lose. I would say keep palying your Chogath as you have been having some success. Keep working on your csing. The lower your elo the more team death match the game is. While you do need to help your team you can get ahead of the enemy by just sticking in lane, farming and pushing turrets. Roaming is good but roaming too much can lead to losing gold.

Your noctrine skills seem to be lacking as well. Looks like you play a lot of jungle so I would suggest reading some guides and watching some jungle videos. It is hard as your teammates probably are shitty at baiting and responding to your ganks, but at the same time so should the enemy team more times than not. Work on counter jungling and counter ganking.

I used to always adc my way out of bronze and adc is probably my worst role at my elo. Well... my top lane is pretty bad idk i try to avoid both if I am trying to rank up.

Game is all about figuring out where your skills are lacking and improving. You are going to get beyond terrible teammates and those games you have to shake off. Some days you will get good teams and go on winning streaks. The game is pretty streaky and I finally figured out the reason after 2.5 years. If I win games I am in a good mood and generally play better, respond to teammates better, and continue to win. Other times I go on a losing streak and start to tilt and just play horrible. I use to keep playing and that is when 8 -10 game losing streaks happened and the demotions started. Now if I lose 2 games in a row I take a break and regroup. You can still go on a losing streak but it doesn't feel as bad.

I am up and down with nocturne. But lately you are right have been off with him. Since I feel you are being real, I will take your advice. I have already drop WW, it just wasn't working anymore. I need to focus more on Noc anyway. NOC and CHO

Dukues1 votes

I really want to learn Noctrine. I do not see him much in ranked anymore but when I do the player generally ends up doing well. I never picked up playing him but might have to start.

Cho is my go to for a tanky mid or top in general. Easy to stick in lane and does good damage and nom nom noming people is always fun. I suck with him in late game it seems, but he seems strong at all parts of the game. I would think if you stick with him you will have continued success and continue to strike fear in the enemy.

I have always been a lux fan and she is really strong right now. People call her op but I am biased and say she is not. I know without a doubt I would put up some huge numbers in bronze games with her, but I have also played her a lot over the last few years and am very comfortable with her. Half the battle is knowing your champion, their strenghts, weaknesses, and limits. Granted I am sure most players don't really start to understand this until plat + myself included but its never too early to start working on different skills. At least from what I have been told.

If you belonged in silver and were place din bronze 5, you would have around a 60% w/r. Although yes, sometimes a bad team will lose you the game; you should be able to carry a slightly bad team/ average team/ good team = 60ish% of what you receive in match making.

selvatica1 votes

All you guys are comparing dynamic que to solo que of the past. You cannot carry the same way people used to because of so many premade teams. Doesn't matter if enemy team is worse players NA, if they are premade and have voice chat its GG. Carry champs like Yi will do well when ur not against a premade but if you are they will just all gang up on you and shut u down over and over.

Phenyxs1 votes

I don't get shut down by lane. I do get ganked but that usually doesn't happen till they find a lane or 2 and feed then send 3 plus my way. Unless all of you see the games I play and how they Feed and stand around you won't understand

Auryiel3 votes

I love how you're basically saying you're gonna play against premade teams for a significant portion of your games when Riot stated that it's gonna happen like once every 50 games

selvatica1 votes

I like how you trust everything Rito tells you. Just play 5-10 matches in ranked and then come back and let me know if their numbers are even close. On every smurf i have i face a premade about every 2-3 games. Why, because more and more solo players are refusing to play ranked unless they have at the very least a duo.

I've done my placements and got placed in Bronze 4 in season 6. Tbh, bronze is all about solo-carrying. I mostly played Talon to get out of Bronze. In my opinion, Silver is much more toxic than Bronze. I'll give u some tips:

Play a carry role: I prefer jung or mid Turn off /all chat. DO IT. Don't play to rank up, play to improve your own skill Play only 2-3 champs and spam them in every match, be good at them mechanically Ward, ward, ward Watch how the pros play, eg livestreams etc Don't rage at other teammates. Look at what you could've done better Adjust to the meta, play champs that are op in this patch/ban champs who you think might be a problem for you Last one: Just play the game and have fun

I was in the same situation in Season 5, quit ranked and only played normals. I was at like 350 normal wins. I played normals every day. Got up to like 850+ wins, played ranked again and got out of Bronze 5 to Bronze 2 in Season 5.

to be honest, that's not a big enough of a jump to even talk about. B5 to B2? I am mean really?

FrostySkipper1 votes

Considering the fact that that was season 5 where I didn't take ranked seriously and it was also the end of the season, I'd say...not bad. Season 6 is where I really got into ranked and made the jump from B4 ( after placements) to S2 :)

you are one person. Congrats on your luck.

FrostySkipper1 votes

Well, to be fair it's all about the vibes, dude. The positive vibes. If your team is toxic, just spread the positive vibes.

On a serious note tho, It wasn't luck. I spammed Olaf in ranked. Got a 82% winrate on him in season 5. Now like I said, watch the pros play, watch livestreams, record your gameplay and analyse your mistakes and what you could've done better. I know that not everyone has the time to do this, but it's for the best if u want to climb. Last but not least, it's all about the positive vibes :)

Lyless1 votes

And this is the problem, these people giving advice don't answer direct questions? They just talk and type around it.

It's the community man, until Leauge dies down some more, becomes less popular with the CoD style raging shit-children, it'll never reach as good as it once did. I stopped bothering with ranked two years ago. Mainly play it with my friends now.

It took me 3 years to get to Silver. But once it did I shot up past Silver fairly quickly. Anyway, it might take you a while to get out of bronze but once you do you will probably get past silver soon after :)

Matchmaker isn't broken. That's just the kind of players that are accumulated at lower division like bronze. Your hope to get out is relying on how hard enemy team trolls around compared to your team.

ScumbagZed1 votes

This hunted horror guy is an absolute moron frankly. I have seen many players who have been stuck in bronze for a long time, and only this season on my newest account did I get out of bronze by being placed in silver. While you may be able to go say: 6/0 in lane and be dominating your enemy; chances are that your team has died about 15-20 times in the same amount of time and there are at least 3 fed enemies compared to you alone on your team. So in bronze where people just group mid for no reason at 20min, those 3 fed people will wreck you and your team, game lost.

The amount of times that you can try to snowball the game yourself compared to the amount of times teammates of yours die 5+ times in lane is pitiful. This season, if a bronze player dies once in lane, they will likely die 5 more times because they have no concept of playing defensive and not dying anymore. Summary so far: teammates feed rampantly and no matter how hard you can try to carry the other team 8 times out of 10 is much more fed than you.

Now onto the trolls, being in silver this season I have finally managed to escape some trolling. I haven't had a troll in a game yet so far this season. However, in bronze people simply don't care. They think its funny to go 1/20 in a game and intentionally lose the game, it happens all the time. Add this to the people that do try but die 5+ times in lane and you have a completed recipe for never getting out of bronze.

End of story.

Randomonium1 votes

Yeah, I got to that point last season. I spent 6 months of the season just playing normals and working on my mechanics. When I came back to ranked at the end of the season I had improved so much that it was easy to climb out of bronze.

When you do decide to go back to ranked make sure to take breaks between games that put you on tilt. I also stop playing ranked if I lose two frustrating ranked games in a row and switch over to normals until I'm sure I am no longer tilted.

Use this time away from ranked to improve your mechanics, decision making and map awareness in normals and I bet you will have a much easier time climbing when you decide to return to ranked.

Good luck.

Tyrone Lannister1 votes

I hate to be that guy, but theres a reason youre in bronze 5. Yes there are trolls and flamers but thats not an excuse to climb. Work on yourself. If need be, mute everyone and focus on your play. Place wards, take objectives, split push. Just be productive. Ive climbed out of bronze twice and heres my advice. Always be productice. Dont just sit there in lane doodling yourself. Get out there and do something. Anway thats all
