Why do I keep getting hit with chat restrictions even though I don't use the Chat box in game?

I literally don't use the chat box in game. I mean I may type in GG or GJ at one point or another, but otherwise I don't chat in game. I've actually moved the chat box off my screen now since I don't need the chat time stamp for Dragon timers anymore. I don't really understand how I keep getting hit with chat restrictions when I literally don't talk in the game. No the chat restriction doesnt bother me because I don't talk in game, but Why exactly do I keep getting chat restricted when I don't say anything?

What the hell is going on?

Since you moved the box away, people are probably frantically trying to communicate with you in chat and you're unresponsive. You don't have to reply in chat, but replying with pings and actions is probably what you need to be doing.

We all understand the need to escape toxic rants, but muting specific people is probably better than ignoring everyone forever.

Supposedly, nobody has been punished for not chatting. Perhaps the restrictions are from a bit older games that have been reviewed?

If you play through them and still get restricted, then you are getting reported. Is your attitude in the games bothering others?

That would be because people are reporting you for not communicating. (Ping or no Ping) This is a team game and if you're not wanting to communicate with your whole team then...well I don't know what to tell you. Other people bring new ideas to the table and you might meet new people you really worked well with if you'd just write them back when they are giving ideas or asking questions in chat.

I can't stand playing a team game where the majority of us are on the same page, working together than there's at LEAST one guy who never writes back and is NOT doing what the team needs- only what he needs.
