i want to talk about shaco, but i got nothing to work with, so if we could get a conversation going about him, either builds, lore theories, jinx x shaco shipping, anything, i just want to talk about my favorite champ. pls comment
is probably one of the most fun champions to play, and the most frustrating champion to play against. I like him though. I'd say he is pretty cool. Clowns kinda creep me out though.
I love when I have a decent early game as Shaco and the enemy team tries to split push and I can basically one-shot the split-pusher with my ult, botrk, youmuu's, and ravenous hydra.
Haven't played him at all this season though...I gotta change that soon. I hear he's pretty strong right now.
EDIT: Also ignite helps me kill the split pusher in 0.06 seconds instead of 0.09 seconds!
and I have a love hate between us I love the thought of being a good jungler, and hate to play against a good jungler. When I first came to LOL at the end of season 2 I looked at all the champs splash art and was one of those champs that just pulls you in. As a new play you are not looking at kits or builds you go off what the splash art looked like, and for me was one I wanted to play. I waited and waited till he came to free rotation. Ever Monday looking if he was on rotation and the time came when he was. I picked him in a blind and fed fed fed. I still to this day hold in a special place of my LOL heart. "if any of us have a heart here in lol"
ah i remember back in season 2 when i felt a ton of accomplishment when i grinded IP for Shaco. And then proceed to spam him and main him, he was so much fun
I wish the ranged top meta never came, it was fun playing AP Shaco top against melee bruisers :P
Does one level up Shiv first or Deceive? Does the extra % of crit really do more damage? And Shiv helps to clear jungle faster.
why? riki in dota2 is soo much better.
perma stealth always. 5 blink flashes to a target enemy that he can do all in a few seconds shaco gets 1. better back stab mechanic that riki has than shaco. an aoe that silences targets, slows them, and makes them miss 70 percent of their auto attacks, and the cd is like a ridiculous like 8 seconds or something and it last like a ridiculous 6 seconds. and like i said this champ is perma stealthed. always invisible. now if you don't stand in his aoe, and are a good fighter you can counter riki as riki has a hard time fighting good fighters like lone druid and his pet bear. also real high burst champions are good against riki. but then again riki can sneak up and kill them too. riki great at picking off ranged squishies. so don't pick a line up of squishy people against riki.
and shaco's clone ult? baahahaahaha trashly designed mechanic compared too all the pet things in dota2.
Ah Shaco, everyones favorite jester. I personally love playing him from time to time, but jungle assassins haven't been all that good in a long time. I'll still use him in normals from time to time when I just want to have fun.
shaco was nerfed heavily this patch according to chinese jester (top NA challenger shaco player that has lost 300 lp this patch)
I remember when most of the complaints about shaco was his bad team fighting. Oh how times have changed.
shaco is one of the most infuriating champions in this game. that's all i really have to say about him.
in season 3 i did a mid AP shaco build that went surprisingly well for me. it was fun as hell too. not sure if it would still be viable as i have not played him since season 3 but i might give it a shot tonight in a bot game to see how it still works :)
