i want to talk about shaco, but i got nothing to work with, so if we could get a conversation going about him, either builds, lore theories, jinx x shaco shipping, anything, i just want to talk about my favorite champ. pls comment

is probably one of the most fun champions to play, and the most frustrating champion to play against. I like him though. I'd say he is pretty cool. Clowns kinda creep me out though.

anyways I really think that there are more infuriating champs out their like akali or riven with their easy snowball that for some reason people think its okay, yet just because I can use q to avoid the said fed riven or akali that im the broken one
Edbwn2 votesI love when I have a decent early game as Shaco and the enemy team tries to split push and I can basically one-shot the split-pusher with my ult, botrk, youmuu's, and ravenous hydra.
Haven't played him at all this season though...I gotta change that soon. I hear he's pretty strong right now.
EDIT: Also ignite helps me kill the split pusher in 0.06 seconds instead of 0.09 seconds!
biomaster2 votesI agree I love it when my early game goes good, cause that's the most shaky part about shaco top imo, once laning phase is over I just pick up free kills from adc squish supports and the midlaners.
Junkο2 votesah i remember back in season 2 when i felt a ton of accomplishment when i grinded IP for Shaco. And then proceed to spam him and main him, he was so much fun
I wish the ranged top meta never came, it was fun playing AP Shaco top against melee bruisers :P
biomaster1 voteswell I cant speak for ap shaco but I currently main shaco top with an ad build that centers around armor penetration, the range champs are not really there except for gnar and the occasional jayce

biomaster1 voteswell first I rush ravenous hydra because it is a large portion of shacos burst, so I take long sword and 3 pot, after I get hydra (youll wanna get tiamats before you get the vampiric scetpre) I rush ninja tabi with homegaurd enchantment since shaco need to back a lot to heal. after that get avarice blade and build it into youmuus, then get another brutalizer for black cleaver, followed up with infin edge and last whisper. then get elixir or ruin if your split pushing or elixir of wrath if your doing a lot of killing
KillnYall2 votes and I have a love hate between us I love the thought of being a good jungler, and hate to play against a good jungler. When I first came to LOL at the end of season 2 I looked at all the champs splash art and was one of those champs that just pulls you in. As a new play you are not looking at kits or builds you go off what the splash art looked like, and for me was one I wanted to play. I waited and waited till he came to free rotation. Ever Monday looking if he was on rotation and the time came when he was. I picked him in a blind and fed fed fed. I still to this day hold in a special place of my LOL heart. "if any of us have a heart here in lol"
biomaster1 votesit took me awhile in b5 until I mastered shaco top to win consistently, now im kinda waiting for season 5 to start up so my win ratio isn't dragged down by those early shaco top game where I rushed frost queens claim but yeah he definatly worth the time and effort to get good at

biomaster1 votesI think what it is, is that people now understand that he offers other things for it, I,e his strong focus ability to take out the adc or mages, and his split pushing, and honestly a good shaco can make I big splash in a team fight if he wants to.

Mahnigguh1 votesin season 3 i did a mid AP shaco build that went surprisingly well for me. it was fun as hell too. not sure if it would still be viable as i have not played him since season 3 but i might give it a shot tonight in a bot game to see how it still works :)
biomaster1 voteshonestly speaking ive never been to big of a fan of ap shaco, but I did do something in a bot game where I jus got manamunes and seraphs just for lols, and my shiv did something around 750 dmg in one shot.
Robins Tights1 votesDoes one level up Shiv first or Deceive? Does the extra % of crit really do more damage? And Shiv helps to clear jungle faster.
biomaster2 votesI personally max shiv first cause its good for harassing in lane but the bonus crit and lowered mana cost for deceive is good once you get some ad, especially infin edge, get it 2nd for escape then max it 2nd or 3rd, ik some people prefer the lengthened fear time of jitb rather then the higher crit dmg from q

perma stealth always. 5 blink flashes to a target enemy that he can do all in a few seconds shaco gets 1. better back stab mechanic that riki has than shaco. an aoe that silences targets, slows them, and makes them miss 70 percent of their auto attacks, and the cd is like a ridiculous like 8 seconds or something and it last like a ridiculous 6 seconds. and like i said this champ is perma stealthed. always invisible. now if you don't stand in his aoe, and are a good fighter you can counter riki as riki has a hard time fighting good fighters like lone druid and his pet bear. also real high burst champions are good against riki. but then again riki can sneak up and kill them too. riki great at picking off ranged squishies. so don't pick a line up of squishy people against riki.
and shaco's clone ult? baahahaahaha trashly designed mechanic compared too all the pet things in dota2.
biomaster3 votesive nevr played dota 2 but im pretty sure if shaco was like that in this game he would be nerfed more then he already has been, but glad you seem to like the general idea of his kit, ult excluded
Maximum Zilean1 votesAh Shaco, everyones favorite jester. I personally love playing him from time to time, but jungle assassins haven't been all that good in a long time. I'll still use him in normals from time to time when I just want to have fun.
