Real reason afks wont ever be fixed

in short, they dont want to fix the "tribunal/automated punishment system/w.e its called we got now"

there is only 2 reasons riot wont put into place if someone afks that nobody loses points 1- because people could duo and if losing the duo just leaves 2-they dont want people harassing someone to the point they leave

this is imo dumb for 2 reasons 1-you're trying to tell me you couldnt flag someone who has been either duoing with afks constantly or in alot of games with afks to try and track these people? you would have to do it alot to be climbing to anything serious and there def can be a red flag that goes off after so many in so many games

2- isnt harassing people against the rules? and isnt there a mute button?

to make it simple, if people actually got punished for harassing people and afking this wouldnt be a problem for one simple reason ((((if you afk or harass people, you get banned.....simple as that, youll either play one game and ruin it then not play again for a certain amount of time, or you just wont break the rules and afk or harass people)))))))

(to all those who dont support punishing afkers, chances are you probably afk yourself and dont want a punishment but honestly you need one.Honestly there is no good reason to NOT punish afk players......grandma died? then a ban on your account shouldnt be your concern and it shouldnt happen often...same goes with power outages or other "emergencies"....and if it is happening often, you shouldnt be playing anyway because often you would be afk.)

its literally as simple as that, why is this still a problem?

The Tribunal doesn't deal with afks. Like, at all.

There's a whole different system (called Leaverbuster) that handles them.

it could still be a trouble. Plus whose to say (with the first reason) that its the same people queuing together? ive seen people with a lot of people on their friends list. they could easily just find someone else, then who is to say that said person left because they were told to? they could have connection problem, or real life problem! its really hard to find people who are legitimate doing stuff like that.

I mean im with you in that we need to punish AFK/leavers/trolls/etc, but there has to be a better way that cannot be easily abused, or else we will see too much people here complaining that they got wrongfully accused of duoing with someone who kept dodging, or what not.

dude this happens at least once a week bro. Right in the middle of a ranked game too, every time. :P
