A few ranked questions! (I'm pretty new to ranked.)

Hiya! c:

I started playing ranked just this week and I had a few questions I can't find a proper answer to, if anyone could answer them or confirm anything I say it'd be a great help! So I played my first 10 provisional games in a week, won 7/10 and was given silver rank, divsion 1! I was actually quite excited and never thought i'd get that high after winning only 7 games with average scores (three I carried). I've been dying to get to gold rank, even if it's gold 5! So here are my questions;

How many games roughly would I need to win (if ranking up is based on wins) to get to gold 5?
How does the ranking system work exactly when ranking up divisions?
How do I get demoted exactly? (I know we all lose games but I'm so worried of being demoted lol.)
If I were to get to gold, would I decay back to silver if I didn't play or is that just Platinum and above that decay?
Can gold 5 recieve the victorious skins? (I heard you have to be like gold 1 - 3 to get them?)
And since I'm a noob to playing ranked, could someone please explain what LPS and MMR is?

Any ranked tips would also be lovely if you have any n . n Thanks to anyone who can help!

How do I get demoted exactly? (I know we all lose games but I'm so worried of being demoted lol.) By losing successive games, or by going inacive for a longer period than 30 days(platinum and above)

Can gold 5 recieve the victorious skins? (I heard you have to be like gold 1 - 3 to get them?) Anyone with a rank of Gold V or higher receives the Victorious skins.

And since I'm a noob to playing ranked, could someone please explain what LPS and MMR is? MMR is a system designed to somewhat estimate what your play level, or skill level, is at to place you against like players.

Dont get your hopes up in ranked. There are trolls EVERYWHERE. And it's FAR WORSE in Ranked. unless you're going too Consistently Duo with someone you know. You'll 9/10 get a troll in your game.

Good luck. But get used too losing 3 and winning 1 because the trolls run this game.

I haven't had any trolls so far so I'm considering myself lucky. I've had some rude players (but they were still decent at playing). Maybe there are less trolls in OCE, I heard NA was worse in terms of trolls and all that (in norms), but i dunno if that's just a myth? ;x And unfortunately I have no duo partner as everyone is too scared to play lol.

I don't know what that guy above you is talking about. I've played over 200 games so far in ranked and have had only less than 5 trolls that I remember...

Oh o . o Maybe it all depends on luck? xD I'm assuming there's less trolls the higher up you get? Since I was placed in Silver 1 which is right off getting into gold, I'm hoping I'll be alright lol. And i assume I wont get a troll every game.
