I just received a Leave Buster warning ... help?

I am not usually one to complain or whine about things but I have been playing this game since season 1 and I have never had any warning of any kind. I have maybe left 3 games in the last year (if I am wrong please remind me) And I am not sure why I deserve a warning for leaving a game when I got called into work last minute and there wasn't anything I could do about it. If I get banned if I leave again it is what it is because I do have a life and it does not revolve around league. But I would like someone to clear up what this warning means. I had to type "I Agree" to not leave anymore games but if life shows up I have to be ready to drop the game. I cant just say "Yeah dad I know your dying I just gotta finnish my league game first" I would understand if I quit games on a regular basis but I dont even que dodge.

Any insight would be appreciated

After you type, "I AGREE," there will be consequences for your actions like leaving a game or AFK. The punishment is less severe in regular normal games, but more harsh if you leave a ranked game. You will be placed in a queue called "Low Priority Queue," which forces to you wait a certain amount of time before searching a game. For example, the first time will force you to wait 5 minutes for 5 games. If you keep leaving, the amount of waiting time will go up and the number of games will go up as well.

You aren't sure why you deserve a warning for abandoning 4 people who need you? Oh because you have an excuse... TOO BAD. Nobody cares about your excuse when you are AFK. You could be rescuing kittens from a burning building, but you're still AFK. You could be giving CPR to your neighbor. Still AFK.

Not to mention the 4 people on your team have NO idea if you are actually being honest with your excuse. Nor do we. Again, it wouldn't even matter, because you still went AFK.

In the end, you went AFK, you got warned... and now you are upset that you got warned for going AFK. Logic.

Just do us all a favor and don't ever play ranked, because apparently you have zero compassion for anyone and treat the game like it's the equivalent of watching a movie.

The leaver buster system is set up to allow for a few AFK games for emergencies or power outages or whatever... You should not be worried in that case. But if you're playing LoL and constantly finding yourself needing to AFK during matches, you should stop playing the game entirely. Either by your own choice, or by Riot banning your account to prevent you from continuing to ruin games.

You're fine, thats just a new system they implemented last year reminding you of a certain part of the summoners code, you probably havent seen it because you havent left a game in awhile. It wont do anything other than u think they have to make you agree to the consequences before actually punishing you, but the punishments are small at first and get bigger if you do it multiple times in a timespan

If you keep leaving normal games, do you get banned? I assume you just get chat restricted or something light.
