Are Jhin's traps supposed to reveal stealth champs?

I wanna understand the champion page. "Jhin places an invisible Lotus Trap that lasts 2 minutes and activates when stepped on, revealing nearby enemies for 4 seconds". Nearby as in not including the enemy that stepped on it? And what about Shaco or Eve when they go invisible? I saw them step on it and not be revealed.

Nearby as in if they are in the blast radius.

It reveals them but it doesn't provide true-sight of them.

If they are in a bush or FoW, you can see them.
If they are invisible, you cannot.
