I have seen it, I have done it, It really works.

Amumu jung Ziggs mid Gangplank top Pantheon Sup EZ adc

All you have to do is get 2 or more people in ammo's ult and all the others will hit. You can insta win a team fight from nearly any range.

Unfortunately they do not have an ADC with a global "ring-like" ultimate. Otherwise it would be the ring of death. (hint hint riot)

Jinx's ult is a circular AoE when it hits. Not sure about the radius, though.

Karthus works too but he doesn't replace anyone well enough to be as viable as the above 5
