Muting Person Mutes Emotes

Im getting real tired of people taunting me. Like when Blitzcrank spams his laugh it totally ruins the game for me. So I believe that if you mute the person in the tab, then that should mute their emotes as well. It has no negative effects on the game, and there is already a mute option, so this can only benefit the game play experience. Please help get this message across because it just frustrates me to no end when people do things in game JUST to be annoying. Ruins the fun of the game

I say they get permabanned for using emotes. It's bad sportsmanship and is probably mildly racist and should not be tolerated by Riot.

It does. If it's not working for you or for a particular champion that means it's not working correctly. Report it as a bug. I've even muted people several times in the last few days to stop their emotes and it is still working for me, but doesn't stop all sounds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nk9HM7qCYrM
