Petition to Riot: Please publish the Mastery Points formula

Hi Riot,

I've read lots of threads about the new Mastery Points on this Board. Over the past few days, I've seen a ton questions about the distribution of those points, such as "How much does X affect points?" or "Why is it so easy/hard to get S rank as a support?" Meanwhile I see people KS'ing because they think a kill gives more points than an assist and I myself have wondered quite a few times today if / how much dragon kills count toward point distribution.

Thus my question: Would it be possible to show us the formula which calculates the amount of Mastery Points a player gets after a match? I don't just mean breaking it down to what it STANDS FOR (we already know team play increases the result, tyvm), but publishing the actual formula from the source code and explaining the meaning of each variable in it.
