What are your most embarrassing League moments?

We all have them: those embarrassing moments when you fail flash over a wall and blame lag, when you Blitz-grab the enemy who slays your entire team, or those times when you trap your team in your ult as Jarvan (oh, come on, we’ve all done it!).

I think my most memorable derp moment in League was the first time I played Janna. As a ripe level 14, I was still pretty new to League, and my champion knowledge wasn’t very diverse. A friend of mine suggested I try to learn support to level up my map awareness, so I immediately bought Janna and excitedly hopped into a game with my friends. I was ready to become a support god.

Shortly after hitting level six, my friend jumped down to bot for a gank. “Use your ult!” he urged me over Skype. So I enthusiastically pressed R right then and there, smugly thinking, “I did it! I AM A SUPPORT GOD!,” only to see the nearly dead enemies blown away from us back to the safety of their own turret. Oops!

So, what are_ your_ embarrassing League stories? I know I'm not the only one!

One time I was playing as Zilean and I forgot to ult the Vayne. I said it was on cooldown. _It wasn't. _ :3

-Locked in Sejuani at Champ Select -Went AFK -Game Started -Realized I didn't pick summoner 11
-Couldn't buy item 1039
-Bought item 2041 instead -Decided to focus only on ganking -Ganked top lane and we both died to Fiora in a 2v1 -Experienced feelings of great sadness -Felt like I was Amumu IRL

Back in Season 1, me and my friend went into a bot game so that he can show me the ropes, we went to mid lane and he said: " Run towards the tower", it 2 shotted me, I never forgave him...

Another time, a very proud moment for me, I got my first quadra kill. I was wicked excited because not only was it my first, but it was also with my favorite champion at the time, Lux. I was in a Skype call with my friends, and I said, "Guys, guys, I finally got my first quadra today!!!" Their response? "Oh, you killed a Wraith Camp? That's nice. You should try killing some champions next time."

I've got four in particular.

Me and my friend Vince were playing a normal game with my friend's cousin. Vince was trying out Vi, I was Zil, and his cousin was Quinn ADC. So Vince comes in for the gank, and they're both really low, and it comes down to a turret dive. I pinged for Vince to go in, and he did, and I pressed ult...on Quinn.

DOUBLE KILL!

SHUT DOWN!

This was when I was around level 15 or so, and was playing Sona with Vince and another friend that we'll call Jason. I mostly forget who was who, but I remember a mid Kat and Vince as jungle Naut. We're teamfighting around dragon, and I flash ult...completely missing, and got bursted down by the jungler/mid laner. Never lived that down.
This was on my own, and I was jungling as Nunu. I wasn't paying attention, and being my overexcited self, run to the jungle. The bot lane helps me leash...but I realize something:

I have no potions

I have no trinket

I have no machete.

Blushing, I recall back, and run back over. Made it just as minions spawned.

Was playing Nunu jungle again, and was doing the Nunu patented level-4-solo-dragon. Heart pounding, sweat pouring, breathing heavy. I see the jungle Udyr at midline...which is when I should have disengaged the dragon. Me, being the Faker that I am, has already used my smite to burst down the dragon faster and I didn't have double charges. So the Udyr goes to gank bot...and see's me. He stands there, with turtle stance, watching me for 5 seconds. Dragon is as 1K health, and I keep doing it, spamming my Q to try and steal away the steal...half a second to Q, he smite stole it, and turned his attention the the 1/3 health me from tanking dragon.

I had given up on life, and did the worst flash escape attempt over the dragon wall, which ended my in front of the wall with a basically full healthed Udyr. I died, and almost quit the game. Did end up winning though because Vince carried top lane was Mundo.

But over my time in lol, I've missed plenty of Amumu Q's, accidentally pressed Flash and ults, screw up taunts as Shen, misuse shen ults, but these were some of my best stories.

Just recently, I used my bard ult, tried to lock down enemy vayne she wa really low, but then she tumbled out of my ult, and I ulted 4 members of my team, and then got flanked my wukong .-. #SilverPlays

Ulting with Nami in the opposite direction. We won that teamfight because the enemy team stood still to laugh at me.

The best one I can think of is when I( Lulu accidentally ulted our shacos clone instead of the real one. It end d up working because their team focused him assuming it was the real one.

When an enemy is getting away and you flash thinking you can secure the kill, only to waste your flash, put some of your abilities on cooldown and not get the kill.

Even worse is if you're running heal and you waste the heal for the movement speed boost to try and catch them and still fail.

I think my most embarrassing moment (not counting all my deaths to jungle) was a game where I played Blitz support. It was a very close game and we were grouping for a team fight that would probably determine the game. I playing blitz was looking for a pick when I pulled Kennen..... Not only was that bad enough but he also had Zhonyas and Ulted before even had the chance to silence him. My team got 5 man Kennen ulted and they ended the game

I did that Janna ult mistake last week when I first bought her because we were going all in and Ashe was low, and I didn't think. Last night I did something stupid as Sona. Their Lee Sin, for whatever reason, had a thing out for me and would always try to get after me when he could. We are pushing mid lane, I help the team get some kills, I used my ult and everything, Lee jumps out of the jungle chasing me. I flash out, use my frost queen slow and my exhaust, and get to safety under turret. Of course, I usually keep going until I get to base to back, but stupidly I didn't think and recalled right there under turret. Lee jumps and kills me -.- I get him back though, quite funny, as he and Yi are ganking some split pushers on our bottom lane. I speed out of base with my W, Vayne behind me. We had wards in the jungle and Lee was running away in our sight. I rush past Yi who runs after me, hit my Q and passive on a low health Lee, and finish him off with my frost queen slow. Yi then gets me but Vayne one shots him and carries on lol the whole game went like that, with me and Lee going after each other haha. I'm sure there were other embarrassing moments but I can't remember right now.

sorry to be a jerk about this but why dont you invest you time more properly admin and bring attention to the issue alot, and i mean alot of players are having right now, if you dont know what im talking about please take a look, i love league a lot and actually invest good time into it. right now i cant play as well as many other players and when we get in a game it auto dc's and we lose our lp and get punished by leaver buster here is the problem thread: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support/NZfBhApx-game-crashing-disconnecting-in-champ-select

I think I've erased most of them from memory, but I can recall two instances in the same game where I saved an enemy Akali that was destroying my team from what could have been lethal turret shots with Alistar's headbutt...

EDIT: I should add that both times were after she had already killed my team

That moment when the enemy Nasus is coming into his own really hard late game, and as Darius I see him in the dragon pit, and pull him over the wall, with my ally ADC in sight of him. He just ignores me and kills my ADC.

Just as soon as I did the pull I'm thinking to myself, "Oh no... I have made a horrible decision."

I have had one refer a friend pending since like the week i joined the game, it's not only me it's the same email as my account because i thought it was asking for my email and not people i was referring to enter their's

I'm an Azir main, but I still feel immensely embarrassed when I use my ult behind me to try and Insec the enemy champion, but end up missing and doing nothing at all. I'm such a sham QQ

Tried to do a dash then flash as Shen, but messed it up by a full quarter second, so i just randomly flashed right next to the enemy adc, looked awkward for a second, then ran away while being poked by an irritated/amused enemy team. It was kinda embarrassing.

I sometimes whiff Sona's ult, and it's embarrassing, sure (especially as a Sona main, with rank 5 mastery). But I remember vividly: literally right before a teamfight I meant to E to speed boost the whole team in.... and I pressed R, hitting absolutely no one. They barely gave me a second glance since the whole enemy team all saw me do it. I was the 2nd last to die.... only because someone managed to escape. :/

once the enemy was going for baron. i played Diana . Baron wasn't warded so i didn't know when to flash in summoner 4 . When I flashed in they were all recalling. All I did was Press B to look like im one of them xD. I was in a skype chat with my team. We all raged of laughter

So... My friends made me refund Morgana because I couldn't hit my bindings. They actually refused to play anything but draft normals with me until I used the refund just to make sure they could ban Morgana.

Using any ult as nearly any champion ends up embarrassing for me more than half the time, whether it's a badly timed wish after a quadra kill, a requiem after the ADC got a penta, or when I play Xerath or Vel'koz and shoot at the wrong direction.

I've done this multiple times, but I splitpush, my team dies, I 1v3-4 and then my teams cheering me on..."Yeah! Do it! Just don't let the pool burn!!!" Guess what happens? My pool erupted in flames and I failed the penta while the enemy Cory in the House slaughtered me with 100 hp.

6 item 3085 Warwick , when my KogMaw build was bork sorc shoes runanns liandrys ie/pd/bt then either ga or one of the items i didnt choose before. It was honestly so good, i could easily 1v3 with proper use of barrier and bork. This is when kog q was targeted.

Ulting when an enemy champion with hard CC is nearby. Just because you see a low health enemy in another lane... Get to a safe spot first.

I did this when I was really new to the game and got full comboed by Malzahar several times mid channel.

I was playing in team builder with a friend and I was going to go Darius top lane, but I was joking around and switched to mid lane right before he locked the lanes.... Darius mid lane is harder than it looks.

As Graves, I activated my ult but I derped up my aim and fired in the complete opposite direction to a large group of enemies. I pleaded them not to show it on Bronze Moments on MachinimaRealm.

Do you ever have those games where you're playing Bard, and you're just having a really off game... and they just assuming you're trolling them, when you're really trying. yeah, I'm sorry adc when I accidentally ult you and let the enemies circle you and take aim.... mah bad.

i was tryndamere. and i went in. i was pretty feed and just rekt their team. but the adc comes in and murders me in cold blood. what makes this embarrassing is that my ult was up the entire time. :/

to make matters worse, i tried to play it cool and say my ult wasn't up in all chat. but i was outed by a teammate :/

i have loads, but one time some stupid troll was all like "Press F for high Five" or something like that. i decided to be the hero and explain what he was trying to do before someone wasted a flash. but I forgot to hit enter before I started typing and ended up flashing :o looked like a total idiot. I didnt even bother typing anything after that to explain myself. too embarrassed lol

Also,, I didnt check the update logs when Ekko was added. Since I was vayne adc, and Ekko a new champ,, I allchatted to report lucian for instalocking when I had already called adc. :o wasn't any talking my way out of that one, either lol

I main Ryze and play it a lot (250k mastery). Ryze can make you feel like a god. After I helped out in mid lane where my mid laner died and I finished mid and jungler, I came back hurrying top where their enemy top Darius was gathering a huge pile of minions. I had won top already but my tower was almost gone. I was already tasting the minions and the enemy bounty as well to get my abyssal sceptre. My smile broaden as I knew my ult was up. Easy pickings. I came from behind, from the river, and I was like "SURPRYZE!" as I popped my ult. He came at me. I clicked on Spell Flux as I thought "that's strange, he's coming at me, the idiot". Nothing happened. I saw my mana bar. Nothing, Zilch, Zip. Spent the rest of my ult running away from him. Got killed almost at the inner turret.

Playing as Kayle support, casted ult on myself instead of carry, in a 2 v 1 with all the time in the world. The hyper carry died, and typed "you had one job". I could not disagree.

Now I think about it, I hate powerful point and click spells like Zilean's and Kayle's R. I'm too greedy, always wanting to big play but ends up being too late.
