GC did work for Blizzard previously, you're right on that. However, I don't see them doing name changes in any manner other than how they currently do it. It allows players that have played for a long time to have an interesting (though some what short term) IP sink, which is something that League needs pretty badly for older players. I'm not familiar with how Blizzard does name changes though, I play Diablo 3 and I've never seen it mentioned anywhere, would you mind explaining it to me?
