Can someone help me improve my computer specs?

Hi guys. I'm fairly dumb when it comes to computers, but all I know is that I have a terrible problem with fps when it comes to team fights. My computer also drops to 20-30 fps in solo lanes. I would really appreciate it if I can know what part of my computer is bad so I can either fix it or hopefully buy a refurbished laptop or something. I know it's pretty bad because my dad just gave me his used laptop and it wasn't for gaming. Thank you.

Its a laptop. Ur fucked.

Laptops require a good amount of knowledge and specialized parts to upgrade.

You should save to get a desktop. its easier to upgrade and You can usually get much more power for the same price.

I move around a lot so a desktop really isn't an option for me. I'm thinking of buying a refurbished gaming laptop but I only play league so I'm just looking for the cheapest laptop I could get just to play league without lag. If you guys have any recommendation that would be awesome.
