If you can't respect the fact that words carry very specific connotations, then you shouldn't be using them to begin with. Furthermore, the "I'm at home, you're at home, don't be offended" argument is just plain ignorant because you know very well that you specifically choose your words to put down or insult other people. You are deliberately using the language you choose to elicit a very specific reaction, and any claims otherwise and this claim that people shouldn't be offended by your offensive language is just absolutely stupid. Instead of telling people not to be offended, how about you stop being nasty to people and pick your words more carefully?

if you got offended then you did get hurt , not physically but mentally and emotionally. and its the mental and emotional scars that are hardest to heal.

Maybe you don't get offended because there is nothing about you that you take pride in or maybe you're part of the majority and you don't get offended because there are no insults that sting you or carry an intensely negative meaning like "n##ger" does to a black individual or "f##got" does to a gay individual.

i just like to say you can be a f##got and not be gay and can be called that and it would mean someone is refering to the lack of manhood you have. in england the word f#g is a cigarette or you might be referring to a branch or twig, or bundle of these. if you learn anything from south park you would know the word has way more then one meaning. i have had gay friends who id never consider a f##got but i knew this one guy at work who was married to a woman that was a complete f$$got. sooo its all in context.

Context that is in your head is completely irrelevant to the real world and interactions with other people who don't share your views on context. Those words are still offensive when used in whatever context you believe, and they still mean the same thing. You are using a derogatory label for a group of people to put down other people. You are further insulting the group that the term was originally used against by comparing someone to that group of people you clearly devalue as human beings since you are so ok with using derogatory hate speech that was directed at them. That is why these words are NEVER acceptable because continuing to use a group of people to insult others is bigoted and ignorant. A gun is still a gun whether it's in the context of a murder, a hunting expediton, or in your grandfather's dresser.
