Can we get w/ the program and punish afkers a bit more quickly?

So many games I get in seem to have either a feeder or afker. Riot seems to do a decent job w/ banning/handling the toxic players. IMO, folks who afk/troll/feed should be deal with as quick or more quickly. They are honestly more toxic than someone who is say verbally abusive. The person spamming verbal abuse can be easily dealt with by hitting mute. Sadly, the same can't be done for a feeder/troll/afker etc. It is bad enough in normal games, then you hit a promo and get SCREWED by it. Maybe the penalties need to be revamped. X penalty if you leave a bot game (minimal maybe 15-30 minutes). Z penalty for leaving ARAM/NORMAL (moderate 1 hour), Y penalty for leaving Ranked/Promos (severe 2 weeks first offense to be increased from there). Another neat idea would be what Blizzard did w/ hots. If you are a leaver, you have to play so many games w/ other leavers before you can q up w/ normal people again :) Anyhow, just wanted to post this. I know it has been brought up once or many times in the past. Figured I would voice concern again.

just had an afk in a promos. 3rd promos in a space of two days with afkers ...on my side. i do feel like some afkers can be excused ...like say something happened in their life at that moment the game began or maybe their computer updated out of nowhere or perhaps firewall issue. but the recent afker i had straight up said 'f*** you all , i didnt get my role so ima afk'. i feel that if you are in promos and get an afker or int feeder you should be excused from that loss if the report system detects this.

that one moment when you realise your livin' in africa and some union (random bunch of peoples complaining about random shit like a lollipop they got free) decides to fuking burn down your service provider in the middle of a lol match and you have to wait 250 min over a duration of 5 matches after the service provider's manager gets fired and the building is build up from scratch.

ok that's a 'lil extreme, yet there are conditions outside of our control which causes us to go afk/leave! not fair to punish afk or leave at all...unless of course you they did it intentionally, but to decide wheter it was intentional or not you would need a sense of reason, which means you are going to need to talk to a human and i'm quite sure rito has better things to do with their time like debating about darius' cooldowns...

Let's talk about John. John has 1.5 hours of free time and decides to play a game of league. After starting up the game, something comes up in real life unexpectedly (ex) pet gets out) and now he can't finish his game. Should he be severely punished for life fucking with him? No, because he's a responsible person who stops playing a game to deal with real life issues. Does it suck for you, person on John's team? Yes. Should you suck it up and move on because it's a game and won;t matter in a week. Yes, some people play with not enough time or rage quit, but unless you know a way to distinguish between John and legit afk punish cases, just deal with the current situation. It's decent enough and people who afk or rage quit on a regular basis get punished eventually.

Sadly, I seem to always get the assholes who say, we only had 20 minutes so surrender or we afk.. That is bs. There are some real life things that can come up, so maybe the first case could be a light slap on the wrist but if it happens like 2 times a month or more, they should be heavily punished. Even then though, regardless of what happened to them to make them afk/leave, there should still be a punishment. They are still screwing 4 other people. At minimum, there should be a 4 game penalty since they screwed the game of 4 others. Just saying the current system is crap because afk happens way too often.
If people can't dedicate a specific block of time, they need to stick to playing bots or customs or something on those lines. Afkers and their piss poor excuses urk me. Still better than the mid or feed but really...
