LoL and Smite

Just downloaded Smite on my PS4, had to wait since I don't have an XBone and I also only have a Mac laptop, and I have to say.... Smite is actually quite awesome!

It's definitely more hectic then LoL, even in ranked games it gets kind of crazy, but it's not NEARLY as frustrating as this fucking game. I mean there really aren't many "just right click" or "just point and click" characters, Gods, so when someone destroys you it's less often "well nothing I could fucking do there cause Yi/Kayle/etc just right clicked me!" It's just a more balanced game.

Maybe it's also cause the only way to talk on the PS4 is with a mic or you have to use generic ping type messages, but the community is a THOUSAND times nicer. Again I think it's mainly cause we're on a PS4 and people actually have to talk to you to insult you, which means the majority of the fucktwats who rage in LoL chats because they can do it more anonymously will probably bitch out if they have to actually speak it.

I imagine at some point I'll run into some CoD playing child who's gonna scream at me or a teammate or something, but it has yet to happen in even ranked.

So yeah idk, I think I might be done with this fucking game cause Riot can't seem to balance their champs/items which only makes the already horrible experience of having to deal with all the idiotic raging fuckheads even fucking worse...

Goodbye League, hello Smite.... I suggest to any of the other multitude of people tired of the constantly unbalanced game and god fucking awful community to give it a shot. You may not like it, cause it's third person and the game as a whole is a little more light-hearted, but you won't know until you try it.

I love Smite, I consider it a really fun game!

BUT it does not have anywhere near the same level of competitiveness that League has. And I'm not talking about just ranking and stuff like that. The game itself is developed to be more of a brawler than a MOBA. This isn't a bad thing, it doesn't make it less of a game than League, but you cannot compare the two games very well.

Smite still has some (maybe most) of the strategy elements of League, but it lacks the full "team strategy > single outplays" that league has. Smite has it's players that enjoy that playstyle, but those of us who enjoy the core aspect of League cannot look at Smite as a very similar game.
