Congrats! I got a penta a couple of days ago. It wasn't my first ever, but it was my first on Annie, and it was my first in a loooooooooong time. Feels good, doesn't it?
My first penta was waaaaaay back around quinn's initial release. I picked her on a whim when i was pitted against vayne because I felt like quinn countered her. Lategame I managed to get a penta despite a fleeing enemy thanks to quinn's old ult allowing me to give chase. It was an exhilarating experience.
My most recent penta was I think in a game where I was playing Syndra, who I pretty much main. It was great, but we did end up losing the game because I was the only one on my team doing particularly well. Still, it was a good game and I felt pretty great about my personal performance!
Somehow, I've lost every game I got a penta against real players in. One was an unusual Karthus pentakill, where I ganked top, killed bot lane with ult without even realizing they were low, and got two kills after I died using Qs. The other was in my first ever game of Nidalee (pre-rework, bruiser build), when I went on cleanup duty after the enemy tried to end the game one push too soon.
And im over here wondering if I'll ever get one :( Rip my mains
