Anybody else wish this game modeled themselves after Nintendo more?

Come on now....let's sit down and really take a look. What did Nintendo do for those of us who really played their games as far back as the 64 and even further? It made us friends. Sure someone screwed up in Mario Party or one person dominated at Golden Eye, but in the end....let's be real.....we were all still friends. In the video above, Sky says it better than anyone. I can't tell you the amount of times i've been playing Pokemon Stadium and lost a fight because a pokemon could not wipe some damn sand from their eyes...... but in the end, it was hey great fight buddy and I'll get ya next time. Now....as a 21 year old. I'm looking at another type of game brought on by Riot. One should think that we would somewhat act the same but we don't. I don't know if it is being brought up differently or the idea of being a keyboard warrior being appealing but....come on now. I challenge everyone in the League community who has played some of the Nintendo games to try to bring back what we all had then. Let's try to get rid of the toxic behavior. Don't matter what elo you are. We can try to make this a better community. Guess what trolls and afks are a naturally part of this game. But if you shake it off and move on, it makes the game more enjoyable. Someone will always feed, I've fed, have had people who have fed, and the enemy team has fed. Despite all that I think we should try to be friendlier because honestly we only meet each other for maybe an hour.

TL;DR I challenge the League community to make League like Nintendo was.

Nintendo was? I'm pretty sure they are still pretty family friendly. As for less toxic, never gonna happen, internet will not change.

As much as I love Nintendo, I'm not sure if League of Legends would actually be a better game if it was more like Nintendo's games.

For one thing, there would be no communication except for smart pings. A lot of Nintendo games completely remove any sort of written chat or voice chat in their games with online components, and the exceptions make you choose from a predetermined selection of words (eg. Pokémon).

Another thing is that the balance would be a whole lot worse than it is now. Remember Meta Knight in Brawl? Now that is OP.

Finally, Nintendo's games have very few bugs, if any. That looks like a good thing on paper, but remember how much people were cheering after Zed and Riven were disabled due to their bugs?

Hell no.

If they modeled themselves after nintendo, every game mode would be boring as hell because it would only revolve around 3 characters regardless of what it was. Would be Garen's Rift somehow (because holy shit Mario everywhere. Tennis, Referee in punch out, etc etc. Is silly).

We would never get any new champions, because that would take away from the "established stars". So we would still have 50 champions, with only 5 at most being worth playing, but all of them would have 500 skins each.

They would likely completely remove the chat feature from the game, and honestly they would probably just remove champ select as well outside of "brawl" mode somehow, because choice is bad 90% of the time apparently.

Everything that isn't family approved just wouldn't exist, so all the female champions would be gone because cleavage, all the champions with guns would be gone, Taric would be gone because anything that isn't 100% straight is bad (tomodachi life anyone?).

No thank you. Nintendo has some fun games now and then, but I'm long bored with Mario, Zelda, and nothing BUT kid friendly themes. League would be dead in a month lol

Nintendo doesn't make competitive games. And when they do, they shun the competitive community

So you want the League community to make League full of weird gimmicks and bad control schemes? No thanks.

I believe all the comments after the first one really missed the point I was trying to get across. It's not so much the characters or the playstyle. It's the way you treat someone. Jamaree seemed to be the only one to really pick up on what I was trying to get across. Stop focusing on gameplay and one character being op. Focus on how you reacted with friends around playing a game of Nintendo. Focus more on your ability to treat someone like a human being and say, "bro, I don't like that you beat me, but I got to admit, that was a pretty sweet way to do it." or "Dude, you may have me this time, but I'll get ya next time." Look at the treatment amongst the players and not the gameplay

This video made me tear up so much when I watched when it came out. Rest in peace Iwata, we'll get you to the nearest Pokemon center. And yes, I hope that people change after looking at Nintendo, but it is a big community and it's going to be hard to do so.
