I am going on vacation in the next 6 months to Orlando. I know the usual Disney World Magic Kingdom is a gimme. I like anything thrill rides. What would you see as can't miss attractions or rides when vacationing there? Let me know what you enjoyed or post up some videos of cool stuff. Thanks!

But, if you're visiting:
Downtown Disney has a ton of nightclubs, shopping and it's totally free. Boardwalk at Universal is also pretty nice. (Albeit Universal costs parking)
Themeparks, as you'd expect. Universal, Sea World, Disney, etc. If you're a thrill rider guy, try Islands of Adventure and Disney Hollywood Studios IMO.
There's a world's largest McDonalds in Orlando. Like I'm running out of stuff to suggest.
I think the world's largest checkers is across the street. Not even joking.
NeptunesRevenge1 votesIf you had to choose between Islands of Adventure or Hollywood Studios. What would you go with? I love thrill rides, but I also like variety in what I am doing. It will be a group of people of varying ages.
How about the places to eat while there? Like in Downtown Disney any places that were great or places you would say to avoid.
ModCaptainMårvelous1 votesIslands will probably give you bigger thrill-rides. It helps if you're a fan of Marvel/Harry Potter/Jurassic Park/Newspaper Comics but you'll probably get more out of IoA than Hollywood, IMO but tha's just my recommendation.
Downtown Disney has a huge array of restaurants that you could probably enjoy, but I can't think of anything super incredible off the top of my head. Maybe there might be a Medieval Times in Orlando if you've ever been there.
dinoFUNK1 votesIslands, easily. Hollywood Studios was a snore, and I consider myself a film buff who loves a lot of the stuff represented there. Then again, I haven't been since it was MGM, so it might be better now.

But, I liked Universal better than SeaWorld and Disney. It's worth checking out if you can afford it/have the time.

dinoFUNK1 votesAs somebody who grew up in Florida, Orlando is basically the worst major city in the whole state, as far as I'm concerned. It's a bunch of strip malls around theme parks. Hit the parks, have a good time with those, but as far as the city of Orlando goes, it doesn't have anything you wouldn't find anywhere else. Night clubs are about the only other thing to do there.
