a champ that blocks true damage

i think we need a champ that blocks true damage and before you guys are like stupid idea and down vote it hear me out. First there are a lot of new champs coming into league and true damage and %health damage has been a big thing added more into champs and reworks so i think there should be a champ that is a tank for people like vayne where most tanks just die to her W and there is not much you can do about it but if there was a champ that could stop X amount of true damage or just not get any more X amount of time it would make it harder for a vayne to just burst past the tanks and 1 shot the mid and adc. This is not limited to just vayne i am just using her as a prime example because of her kit being as it is. What do you guys think am i just completely wrong here or am i making at least a bit of sense.

I mentioned this to the guy who's re-working Taric the other day saying..

"Because he looks like he has diamond armor, and diamond being one of the most strongest substances, makes him Impervious to true damage"

This is a cool idea that I hadn't really thought of. It would probably need to have a little more gameplay to it, like if he converted all true damage to physical damage or something like that, but I think the idea is generally really cool. ~ RiotRepertoir

There are champions that can do that already like Tryndamere , Sexy Tryndamere Kayle as well as Lamb Chop and Wolf job Kindred . Also any champion with a shield or untargetability. As far as a champion taking reduced damage from true damage, that sort of defeats the purpose of having true damage in the first place.
