Why does riot keep pricing so weird?

The prices compared to RP you get have always been wonky, but i think it is becoming a PINNACLE of unbalanced.

We all know that $5 US gets you 650 RP, not enough to buy a 975 champ alone the next version is $10 US for 1380 RP, and that is comparative to a 975 and almost a half of one as well.

I never will understand how this was or ever will be justifiable other than getting more money and leaving you with leftover rp so you are more likely to purchase more, otherwise waste it.

Remember when getting the bundle of the champ and release skin was an actual deal? The new bundle you get is ~ 20% off which can be seen as a good deal, i can't deny It seems the new incorporation of the brand new champions with a 1350 RP skin right off the bat is a tad too much honestly... and look... another bundle, even when on sale or normal, if you want to outright buy it ($20 for 2800) you get 500rp more than if you were to buy them seperately (more esxpensive and bundle is better, 2325 vs 1837) up to just short of 1k more than you need for unknown reasons...

I have to voice this because this practice just sucks as a consumer, when you need to pay more for what you want and have leftovers that end up feeling wasted unless you buy more.

Your 3rd paragraph just sums it up. It's a business strategy to entice people to buy more RP. It's the same reason why in the real world nothing really ever is the exact dollar amount. It's always like 19.99, 51.26, then when you put in taxes it jumbles them up even more.

But the fact of the matter is that it's suppose to make you buy more so you could try and even it out, or get 0 RP.

I mean.... yeah. That's the whole point.

Lets just say i have 742 rp and a skin costs 800 rp (This is just an example)

You only want enough to buy the skin for 800. Its $5 for 100 rp or $10 for 345 rp.

See whats going to happen? You think "its a better deal" so you get the $10 amount and thus have a wonky amount of rp left over.
