Hey riot I just wanna let you know that the fun factor of jungling for me

Is completely gone this season.

Season 1 was tough but at least you came out really strong with decent items. Season 2 was a cake walk and you got to gank to high even with any champion you wanted. (fuck yeah karthus/ap shaco/ap rammus jungle LOL) season 3 was meh It was like a tougher less exp/gold version of season 2 with more items. season 4 was meh less gold than 2/3 with some changes to items that made it interesting season 5 worse than all the others and hardly any real item changes and still 1/2 jungle item build paths that obviously outclass every other except for some extreme cases like sabre being abused by WW because its on hit instead of just being like chilling smite without the slow so technically it deals "more" damage.. and its hard to clear...and you get less gold.. and you get less exp...and it you lose so much exp for failing a gank than you did any other season...and the smite CD is so long I only get to choose 2/1 camp to take a buff from for an entire clear.

I think its stressful enough being a jungler in a meta where you're just supposed to be some wannabe tank item/support because you don't get gold to build DPS like a laner but you don't get enough gold to ward properly. If you're not fed you're useless if you're even farmed you're still useless compared to a laner. I don't like feeling unimportant 30% of the time and the other 70% i'm either stomping or moderately sustained by getting 1 kill out of the 7 other assists I made.

We the solo laners don't like our lanes being decided by the junglers, so yeah, you guys aren't fun for us either.

We also understand that a little tax is deserved here and there, but when you guys come on our frozen lane, just to unfreeze it...once again...not fun for us.

ahahaha I buddy I'm not like that.

I've been jungling since end of s1. I think I know a thing or two about how to tax. Though to be fair. I do tax 1 or 2 more minions due to the fact that the exp nerfs to jungle/gold nerfs are so large I fall far behind my solo lanes and even go nearly even in exp gain with the support towards the mid game/early game. Its disgusting.

If I used recording software I'd gladly show a j4 game earlier where my solo lanes are level 15+ and I'm still level 11/10 with the support despite having like 15+ total kills/assists. Absolutely disgusting

You know what else is fun, sitting back, watching your lane opponent get free CS as you watch the opponent jungler sit on your ward. SO MUCH FUN THERE FOR US!!!

Isn't it still in preseason? Aren't we judging it a bit early?

Perhaps in stead of saying 'well it's over fun is gone' you should make some specific and targeted feedback posts in the gameplay/balance forum directed at the specific parts of it that make it less fun than before for you...

Change still can happen afterall.

is that what you believe? Nah, this is what we're gonna get. they might decide months from now that the game sucks for us junglers but it'll be far too late. I already just "jungle/fill" instead of "jungle" now because its so unsatisfying being a jungler who's jungle kills you more often than a champion. I'm not a warwick player. I do play fiddle but thats not nearly as fun for me as j4 or shyvana or evelynn or rammus or shaco.

you're supposed to have fun. If I'm saying its not fun then theres obvious issues. I already made threads about the gold/exp gain and how god awful it is for the resouces you spend clearing camps.

You're just too cynical, nevermind. Forget I even tried reasoning with as closed a mind as yours. I hope you can find something you enjoy again... perhaps you just need to take a break from LoL entirely to see if you still really do like it.

League of warmongs/League of black cleaver. Thats all I can think of. And most items are always broken as shit on release.(least any of the post 2013 ones) Dodge mechanic removal made jax wait basically an entire season to actually be playable again because they still took 1+ months to patch and rework him. And then they reworked his ult multiple times so he technically wasn't done for like 3 months. (his ult was changed to give bonus AD/AP instead of armor/mr for awhile.. then back to armor/mr... but without the HP scaling )

I could find an equal number of things that WERE changed during pre-season, but doing so would be futile since your mind is closed. All I can say is that I hope you find something that you enjoy since LoL clearly isn't that anymore. Try taking a break from LoL, might do you a world of good.

I only ever look up peoples' stats if they're bitching about other peoples' stats... and only then just to point out that their stats aren't perfect either. Never saw any other reason to. Waste of time really... and feels kinda creepy. Also, match history only shows ranked and a lot of people don't play ranked in pre-season.

Either way... on topic, if you're taking a break, how can you speak with such authority about the balance AND why is it so important to you if you're not even playing? Calm down a bit lol

lol.... if you're playing then my point still stands. You're not enjoying it... Take a break and find something you enjoy.

Analogy:

I drive to work the same way every day. After a new business opens up, the way I take to work is suddenly full of really bad drivers and I'm constantly getting into close calls with accidents. So I find a new way and take that for a while. Then I decide to give my old way a try, and it's still horrible.

The logical thing for me to do is: a) Continue driving the way with the horrible drivers. b) Go back to the way that doesn't have the horrible drivers.

What you're doing here is a. You stopped having fun with LoL, so you took a break. You came back to play it again... and now you're STILL not enjoying it... so what do you do? Keep playing and bitch about how much you hate it.

What should you do? Pick option b. Go find yourself something you do enjoy so you can stop bitching about how much you dislike the way they've changed LoL. But what will you most likely do? Keep playing and keep bitching about how much you hate it...

It's mindboggling. But go ahead, ignore good advice. Ignore the person being sensible. Forget you had the conversation because it reminds you that you're being stupid...

well regardless of how stupid you're being... I hope you find something you enjoy someday.
