She's always been powerful if you can get going on her, but the real problem is that her kit and visuals are massively outdated so she NEEDS this update.

I played poppy alot(althought only in normal) and reached 5 mastery with her. I was thinking of this build:
It would give u 40% cdr, solve all mana issues, give decent MS, 2 slows, and crazy damage with crits
everyone knows poppy is OP lategame. seen too many 1v5s in my time.
poppy is a terribly designed champion. she is trash early game, but unstoppable late game due to her complete lack of counterplay. she needs this update very badly
Poppy isnt getting reworked because she is trash. She is getting reworked because once she is fed, a good Poppy is unstoppable.
I play tons of Poppy and the thing that I have noticed is that she is really strong sometimes and really bad others. The biggest problem is that her kit is super clunky. Look at a champ like Riven who has every skill synergize in like 6 different ways with every other skill. There is massive outplay potential and she feels really streamlined and well thought up. Poppy feels like two different champs: a super tanky linebacker that knocks people into walls and tanks infinite amounts of damage while having the most poorly worded passive ever, and a super bursty melee assassin who is entirely reliant on Q for damage.
Get Essence reaver over hexblade and you'll do more damage, and you won't need the cdr boots
IMO she needs a new w. It feels pretty useless lategame. Especially with all these super-mobile champs
