can anyone tell me why riot allows morgs snare to last so damn long?

it last like 3 seconds and if ur fighting more than one champion it only takes them 1 second to kill you so what gives, especially with his long range, hitbox and and absurd damage

Its one of slowest skillshots in game and its just a root. Long duration is reward for hittibg it

It's pretty wide and travels slow, so it's easy to dodge or position behind minions.
