Riot has designed themselves into a corner

They keep releasing champs with more and more stuff in their kits so with every champ after that they have to one up themselves. Let's look at Vel'Koz. He has a fairly simply kit. No passives on passives. No jumps or dashes. Outside of some visual updates he has not been touched since release. But look at him. You never see him because being immobile is such a strong weakness now. I don't think we will see another immobile champ to be released unless they are a support and even then they will probably have a bunch of passives.

Because we had complained about Riot not being innovative enough in the past, so now they think mashing everything they can ever imagine into 1 single champ would be a great idea.

Shouldn't have complained, at least we only had to deal with some broken releases here and there which were easily solved by nerfing, now things are just getting too hella hard to deal with.

I don't know that immobility is the reason Vel isn't played. Look at some of the current top picks. Viktor, Ashe, Kog'Maw, Urgot, etc.

I think a few characters have kits with too many tools, but I don't think it's THAT big of a deal. But Riot ARE increasing the creativity on their champions, whatever the reason, which is a good thing.
