I was reading a bunch of guides in Mobafire that were saying that something after patch 5 or season 5 gold is now easier to get and the Quintessence of Gold should now be replaced by armour or/and HP?
this is in regards to supports
Is this all just opinion or did Riot really make it easier for supports to get gold after season 4 or after patch 5?
idk, I still use my GP10 Quints on my support page.
I know plenty of people that still use them, but because of the introduction of gold-gen items that can be purchased as starter items, they're less of a requirement than previously.
i havent used gp10 all of season 4. you have the new gold items. I really havent missed the gold from the gp10's and have enjoyed additional mobility, ap or tankyness!
also, dont use mobafire. do yourself a favor and look at solomid!
