Giving players a reason to be toxic in the beginning of the season.

Ok, so it took me a little while to figure this out because I don't spend a whole lot of time on the boards, but i've been hearing alot of people in games being toxic, and you know how that goes. people argue back and forth and eventually it comes to something like this, "Idgaf, i'm already not getting ranked rewards." or "I got until 3 months until the end of the next season to be toxic." (though worded slightly different than that as i'm sure you can imagine) So it took me a little while to figure out what people were talking about with this whole 3 months thing, then finally someone explained to me that players who are banned during the last 3 months of the season are denied ranked rewards, but players who were banned before that are in the clear. I feel like there is a lot of room for error with the way riot is doing this, for the exact reason i stated. Excessively toxic players now have a deadline to when they need to clean their act up if they wish to get ranked rewards. (Which really aren't that big of a deal to everyone honestly, but to some people it is) Anyways, i feel the way this is set up is only going to incite anger, and like i said, give people a deadline of when to stop being toxic. Don't get me wrong, I hate toxic people ruining my games just as much as the next guy, whether they are being toxic to me, or to a fellow teammate, it is still annoying, BUT I am not opposed to giving the people a reason or a motive to reform. Realistically, if they are going to stay on this game, wouldnt you rather encourage change, than incite them to further anger? Do I think all toxic players can be taught to guard their words a little more? not at all. I do believe some can be though, whether that be from the actual will to change their behavior and be less toxic, or simply behave JUST to earn their rewards, or re-earn their rewards depending on the situation. Now I know alot of people will say something along the lines of "If they are only being less toxic to earn their rewards, they don't deserve them" or something like that. I can see where someone would come from saying something like that, but lets be honest, thats a pretty immature thought. realistically, how in the world does it affect you if someone else gets their ranked rewards? It doesn't. PERSONALLY, I don't care if someone is only not being toxic in order the earn their ranked rewards. If they are being less toxic in my games then guess what? I honestly dont care why they are doing it. If they are being less toxic simply to get something they want, THEY ARE STILL BEING LESS TOXIC, and that is beneficial to everyone. ANYWAYS, hopefully riot can find a way to encourage reform amongst the toxic portion of the community soon, because there really is way too much of it in this game at this point, and its getting old. I think we should find a way to encourage reform amongst these people, and if bribing them with ranked rewards is one way to go about it, so be it. Will this affect everyone? No. I know bronze people surely arent that worried about getting their bronze icon and stuff like that, but you know what, its a start. Its something. Give them a chance to earn something, and not something that isnt available to the rest of the community, and if they earn what they want and then decide to be toxic again, take it back from them.I really hate to say this seeing how we are talking about the more negative part of the community, but rewarding the positive works alot better than punishing the negative, and what i mean by that is i really think giving these people something when you notice improvement from them is going to have a much greater affect then simply punishing the negative. You need both to make them feel the change is noticed. I'm not saying by any means to stop chat banning them, or banning them in general, I'm all for that without a doubt, but I am for giving them a reason to improve, and letting them feel like their positive changes are being noticed. This is a great game, but it is being ruined by all the toxic players to the point where i legitimately hate majority of the league community. Lets try to make this game a better place.
