uh, I think the term you are looking for is Hemomancer. If you want to use mage, I would say Blood Mage. I just don't like using Blood Mage because people get the wrong ideaand they think of Blood Mages who use their own blood to cast spells for cheaper or stronger. Instead of actual blood manipulation. Or if the person you are explaining him to is in to Avatar, just say he is a bloodbender, just a more mature badass version of it.
