this is funny regardless of anubis or nasus
That joke is bad and you should feel bad. The original writing had a sense of humor, you just wanted to shove something league of legends related into it so you could post here and take credit.
True. This guy knows what he is talking about.
Lol, made my day.
Damn, that natural 20. Kind of reminds me when somebody in my party rolled a 20 on a smile in a conversation, making the room light up and attracting everyone's attention.
"I roll to pickpocket Anubis"
Holy hell i laughed so hard my neighbours might think i am mad xD
NO, replace it with Susan :D
Skill Checks don't auto succeed on natural 20s as far as I know.
Some house rules allow it. Usually making nat 1 an automatic failure to balance it out.
Eh, house rules are too subjective. Not that I don't have my own, mind you. It's just a -10 DC check can still be made if you roll a nat 1 with negative modifiers like ACP or ability score mods.

It's mostly down to how the DM plays it, as there's no cut-and-dry ruling on it. (Which is a good thing, IMHO) Most of the time, my DM says that a natural 20 is an automatic success, because he won't let us make the check to begin with if it's an impossible task. (Like trying to lie to the God of Truths or something outlandish) Likewise, he automatically fails people for rolling a natural 1 because if the task was so easy to accomplish that a natural 1 would still succeed, he wouldn't make you roll for it.
Once again, though, mostly house-ruling. Playing it "by the books", so to speak, still means it comes down to what tabletop edition you're playing.
I'm only familiar with Pathfinder.
i mean even then DnD is a game about doing what you like. In all things, player/dm consensus trumps rules.
(pathfinder is the best version tho)
I wonder if they sell replicas of that 20 sider...
