Having an adaptive playstyle to play basically any role due to the meta constantly changing apparently takes no skills compared to being a one-trick pony and only playing one champion. It also takes skill to identify what IS good in a current meta which as stated above will primarily be assassins vs adcs for preseason by the looks of things. We did not pull that statement out of our ass but by inferring that adcs will be strong and multi-laned due to buffs and item changes and that Assassins will be needed to counter the ADCs. If you want to show off your 200k mastery point Sion or whatever for the sake of your mad skillz in a meta full of ADCs that will literally shred through your like you were made of paper mache (the irony is palpable) then you can go right ahead and lose because you are narrow-minded.

You make it sound like playing "meta" champions will not take any skill and that if I pick one I will automatically win. That is simply not the case since most of them do take a few brain cells or games under your belt to play well. Yasuo for one will be very strong in the preseason but you cannot expect a first time Yas to do well because he has a rather high skill cap to be able to carry the game all on his own.

The best part is, the "bruiser juggernaut thingy" is actually the best meta because just about everything is viable, and yet they change it anyway.

The bruiser juggernaut meta was when morde, garen, Darius, skarner, and fiora was reworked. You're probably thinking of the tank meta (End of spring when cinderhulk was slightly nerfed). THAT was when almost everything was viable.

And in season 3......It is literally the same every year except it starts on different steps some times. This game is, in the grand scheme of things, a very big game of rock paper scissors with like 5 different options instead of 3 which all cycle back to each other. The only problem with the current iteration of League's rock-paper-scissors is that it is Tank<Marksman<Assassin<Fighter<Marksman/Control Mage<Assassin<FIghter<Marksman/Control Mage<etc.

Notice anything strange? Tanks are nowhere to be found because Riot has currently made them sub-optimal to bring when compared to a Juggernaut that is arguably just as bulky but packs a lot more damage for the sacrifice of CC (To an extent since Death is arguably the hardest form of CC since it stuns you for 30+ seconds AND teleports you to the fountain. This is only surpassed by the duration of Morgana Binding where she disconnects you from the game entirely). Tanks, yes do well against Assassins, but Fighters also do well against Assassins while also doing well against Tanks which completely removes them from the equation.

Wanna hear something funny? Season 6 will actually be about Assassins because every items just got more aggressive. It might even Talon/Yasuo more than anything else because of how insanely broken Maw of Malmortius is, but I can guarantee you that once those patches hit live, it won't be as much of an ADC frenzy as PBE is.

They will probably react quicker considering Season 5 went from Warwick to AD Jungle to Tank to Devourer to current. Now we goin ADC for a bit maybe and then literally 3-5 patches later, Assassins.

But Yasuo is going to kick everyone's ass all the time. Not even joking. The new mastery and EVERYTHING supports his kit.

No dude, you forgot that Season 7 will be the Revenge of the Supports, Sightstone will give an aura that gives all nearby allies +30 health and a hidden passive that when an allly is affected by this aura every kill he gets goes to the support... Plus at every 10 min, a void dragon will spawn in the mid lane (right at the center), the team that gets the kill will be split a reward of 5000 gold

It will be so hard to play Pantheon well this season... You have like 8 offensives items which all look great on him as well as 2-3 offensive keystone masteries, but you will actually have to build tanky to be useful.

So basically, the different between a good Pantheon and a great Pantheon in S6 is that the great Pantheon is able to stop buying AD items.

ER + Youmu's is once choice, Maw + Hydra is another (Maw is really strong, and you can get ravenous early and later change to titanic for free), Triforce + Death's Dance is definitely possible... I just feel like everytimes I pick Panth I would like to take 22 offensive items, and then start getting tanky.

Can you stop crying about Yasuo? He has been so weak for so long while you were crying about him : ( omg he 2 shots me ! ) (14/0 yasuo ), that is the most common cry , imagine a 14/0 lb, you would not even see her while 3 of your team get obliterated. I don't mind if he is buffed in S6 cause he deserves it , his core weaknesses are still there and they are big enough to make up for any help coming from the new items or masteries. Misconception : you don't win lane randomly smashing keys and using dash endlessly , that can work against clueless people not decent ones. Peace
