Not even joking, I've had basically that happen, that was the game I got an S+ and lost.

You held your lane, you warded, even when top or bot roamed mid. You still found time to roam a few times yourself. Giving kills when possible, but mostly securing them. Trying to help distribute your own gold and xp advantage to your allies. But it's just not enough. I was Veigar, so even with 1200+ AP (Most I've ever had since playing season4) I couldn't effectively push. I could delete them in any skirmish, but eventually they just spread apart from me and picked allies off. Didn't help we had an adc Katarina with an afk from the start Riven. I lost a 4 v 5 that was about an hour long because it boiled down to our only literal sense of AD was afk, Velkoz mid and A Sol jungle.

It wasn't just one of those games where someone an say "oh ya you took all the kills and didn't help your team out, blah blah " Literally no, you're frustrated because these were things you look to avoid. Losing a close game is one thing. Losing a long game is another. Losing a veeeerrry long close game is grueling.

I main rek'sai top, and I was playing it that game. I'd destroyed my lane opponent, don't remember who, this was a couple of months ago, and after pushing their turret, I just roamed hardcore. She's still a jungler too, so I just chain ganked and racked up kills. I tried to give them over, but I had to max out my burst for the ganks or else they'd survive. I was so ahead that them sending 3 people to fight me at once was a really scary proposition for them.

I fking worked to carry them, but everything I tried ended in mediocrity with them.

The worst part? I was 5 manning, and was skyping with my teammates, who were all failing that game.
