I mean, technically it's Brazilian/Portuguese. Portuguese is similar to Spanish, and Spanish pronounces u as an ou sound and e more like a short a, with h being more like a exhaled eh (as opposed to j, which is more of an h sound)

Describing pronunciation is hard (and I'm bad at it). Long story short, its a different language and so the letters sound different. Also accents. Hue is used similarly to the English ha to denote amusement or laughter.

Hue is pronunciated like a strong U sound followed by É (in portuguese) or A (like in HAppy) in english.

We also don't pronounce U as OU, we pronounce like in English but without the I: English says IU, we say U.
