To be fair, Battlcast also has Xerath who is humanoid, which, as the term implies, is fairly close to human.

It's actually not so bad. Grenade the lowest HP minion and just make sure you either get out of dodge with the last bullet or defend with skills while reloading. The Ult... is really hit or miss.
