I wonder how this will work out for me, as I plan to be a Mortician, and Morticians have a 24 hour "call you when we need you" setup. It'll be an interesting situation, definitely.
Ever get a call in the middle of a game?
There isn't a single doubt in my mind that it will happen.
One man show? Like, you're always the one on call? That would be kinda nuts.
Although, I've also had friends from my program (chemistry) take jobs at intel where if they aren't working, they're on call. And apparently they do get called a lot. For chemistry emergencies? Seems lame to me.
That's dependent if I actually get hired for a job at a Mortuary, or decide that I want to run my own Mortuary. If I go for the second, I'll need to go through business classes and such, whereas if I get hired, all I'll need is my chemistry, pathology, biology, psychology, and a couple other ologies. Oh, and both require Mortuary Science, but, that's a given.
I won't be alone during apprenticeship, but, I'm not sure if I'll be alone once I finish it. If I am, my activity at the Morgue will, I suppose, be based on how many people die in said town/city. Where I'm living now, there's a resting home, so, people tend to die here.
There's a large graveyard.

This is so freaking true for me when I get off work.
I don't let anything stop me from getting to my league!
Draven tho.
