The League of Legends Alpha Client. They'll replace the current client with something new, and it's already looking good!

This is PBE right? If it is, it's a bit weird how a new champion is there and I get an email saying 'Yeah you can come in dude', but it sucks that I got banned from League by my parents because I spent too much and it's gonna take a lot of convincing

No, it's not PBE. It's the same as live except it's the new version of the client that they'll be pushing to live after they work out all the bugs.

Basically it's a third version of League to download if you have access to the other two already.

That's weird because I applied to join the PBE and not the alpha client yet got accepted for the alpha client...

EDIT: Just looked it up. Seems that the PBE is either seperate from it or is built into it. Someone please confirm

Separate. I've been on the PBE for a year and just got into the Alpha client trial myself a week or so ago. You use your live account info on alpha while you make a different account on the PBE.

You sign up here and wait until they email you. No time table on how long that will be. For some it's a month, others wait over a year or even longer.

See the thing is, I click 'I want to help' and it sends me to an error page. I've also signed up to the PBE and not the alpha client so I dunno what happened

That really is strange. There's a separate sign up for both. If you'e all signed up I suppose you'll just have to wait longer.
